Everyone immediately denied it upon hearing those words. If Zeref had truly been resurrected, the world would be plunged into a terrifying catastrophe once again.
"But if that's not the case, then how else can we explain what just happened?"
"Prepare the Etherion again! We must completely destroy the R-System!"
The council members were all deathly pale. If the worst-case scenario came true, then the entire world could be doomed.

Tower of Heaven
"Alright, now that there's no real threat left, I can finally teach you a proper lesson." Jellal's expression darkened.
"I always knew you were a monster, but I never expected you to be able to redirect even the Magic Council's ultimate weapon, Etherion."
"But don't think you can look down on me!"
As Jellal spoke, another man who looked exactly like him, dressed in white, appeared.
"Don't assume that was my full strength. A large portion of my power was focused on my Thought Projection. But now..."
The two Jellals slowly merged back together, and Jellal clenched his fist. "My power... my magic... it's all back."
"You've just wiped out a whole bunch of dark guild members, teleported them away, and even redirected Etherion. That must have drained you significantly."
Uchiha Kitaro checked his own condition and nodded seriously. "Yeah, I used up a lot of energy."
"A guy like you is way too dangerous to be left alive. This is the perfect chance to take you out." Jella smiled.
"Hmm... What a coincidence. You're not exactly dangerous, but you're a massive eyesore. I've been planning to get rid of you anyway."
---
"Meteor!"
Jellal's body was suddenly surrounded by golden light, and he shot toward Uchiha Kitaro like a meteor.
Kitaro clenched his fist and struck directly in Jellal's direction.
CRACK!
CRACK! CRACK!
Space fractured, and an overwhelming vibration burst forth from Kitaro's punch.
Jellal's face twisted in shock. He quickly altered his trajectory, dodging the incoming shockwave and repositioning himself behind Kitaro.
He drove his elbow toward Kitaro's lower back.
Kitaro didn't move. Instead, his back was already covered with Armament Haki.
BOOM!
Jellal's elbow struck Kitaro's back, but it felt like hitting a solid iron wall.
WHOOSH!
Jellal circled around to Kitaro's side and aimed a knee strike at his face.
BANG!
Kitaro raised his hand and effortlessly blocked the attack.
"Hitting my waist is fine, but don't go for my face."
"What?!" Jellal was stunned. He couldn't believe his attacks were being read so easily.
He swiftly moved behind Kitaro again and sent a kick toward his neck.
Kitaro casually caught Jellal's ankle and slammed him toward the ground.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"AAAHHHH!!"
Jellal let out a painful scream as his body smashed through layer after layer of flooring.
But soon, he recovered and shot back up from below.
"You... you can actually keep up with my speed?"
"Your speed? Yeah, it's fast... but honestly, it's not that impressive. With my Sharingan, your movements are nothing special."
"And besides, if you're fast—I'm even faster."
As Kitaro spoke, a surge of blue chakra erupted from his body.
CRACKLE!
Lightning flickered across his form.
Lightning Release: Chakra Mode!
Then, he switched to Thunder Breathing.
CRACKLE!
The electricity surrounding him intensified.
WHOOSH!
With a single step, Kitaro shot toward Jellal like a bolt of lightning.
Jellal's face changed.
"Meteor!"
Jellal pushed his speed to the limit, soaring downwards at an incredible velocity.
Kitaro immediately chased after him.
Jellal abruptly turned at a ninety-degree angle, but Kitaro ran along the tower walls as if it were flat ground, keeping up effortlessly.
Jellal twisted his body and shot back upward, but Kitaro followed without hesitation.
One golden streak and one blue streak—two figures streaked across the Tower of Heaven, their speed battle intensifying.
The pressure of being pursued made Jellal uneasy.
WHOOSH!
Jellal burst into the sky, deciding to stop the speed battle altogether.
Just as he took a breath—
A hand landed on his shoulder.
"Gotcha."
A shiver ran down Jellal's spine before he could react.
WHOOSH!
"UWAH!!"
BOOM!
Jellal's body crashed straight through the Tower of Heaven.
He barely avoided hitting the ocean and immediately flew back up, his face dark and serious as he stared at Kitaro, who was floating in midair.
"You... you can fly?!"
"What's so surprising about that?" Kitaro had a calm smile.
Jellal roared, "Don't think you can defeat me so easily!"
"Grand Chariot!"
Jellal raised one hand, summoning six glowing magic circles above him. With a wave of his finger, they shot toward Kitaro like falling stars.
Kitaro lifted his leg.
"Tempest Kick!"
He sent out multiple razor-sharp air blades.
BOOM! BOOM!
BOOM!
Jellal's magic circles were completely shattered by Kitaro's attacks.
"Damn it!"
Jellal conjured nine even larger magic circles, firing them from all directions.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The energy crashed into Kitaro.
"Did I get him?" Jella was about to feel happy.
"Sorry to disappoint you... but nope."
