Composed of the tough Xuanwu Stone and over a meter high, it is carved with a dragon and a ferocious tiger locked in a direct confrontation.
This platform is known as the Dragon and Tiger Platform, the namesake of the street itself.
All significant past events held in Wuyi District were conducted here at this very place, and even the ranking matches set by the Martial Arts Association took place here countless times.
Hence, the stature of the Dragon and Tiger Platform is quite elevated; ordinary boxing competitions do not qualify to be contested upon it.
