The night was boundless, swallowing everything in its wake.
Within the darkness, on the vast plains, tens of thousands of mutant beasts galloped wildly, led by hundreds of Beast Kings. They charged crazily toward that dazzling firelight in the dark, one wave after another, falling one after the other, fearless in the face of death.
In the center of the firelight stood a young man in a white robe, holding a long knife in one hand, his figure flickering in and out of the firelight, as if by Instant Teleportation.
His knife's light shone brightly as well!
At times the knife light was like a whirlpool of gentle water, pulling the attacking mutant beasts into it, grinding them up or drowning them on the spot.
At other times, it exploded like fierce flames, shattering and burning all the mutant beasts in its path.
Then again, like a gentle breeze floating by, or wind fueling the fire, or wind and water forming waves, or water and fire intertwining...
