Legend has it that between Heaven and Earth, there is a long river known as the River of Time, also called the Space-Time River, recording every event that happens over time, whether you are a commoner or a Saint of the Heavenly Dao, all are subject to its flow.
Saints, impervious to the ravages of time and immune to all methods, are supreme beings, yet even Saints cannot alter the course of the River of Time, much less possess the capability to disrupt space and time.
For this would exceed even a Saint's level, representing an unimaginable and great terror.
