Chapter 275 - Chapter 275: ‘Fighting’ the Fire Dragon

Nihilister was seething with rage, hatred boiling over in her chest. She wanted nothing more than to tear Mo Chen limb from limb. She straddled him, knees pressing against his waist, her body leaning forward, strands of her dazzling red hair nearly brushing his face.

Her sharp nails pressed against Mo Chen's neck. Just a little pressure and she could pierce straight through.

But even that small amount of strength… was gone.

Her body felt like it no longer belonged to her.

"Nihilister, this time, you lost."

Mo Chen grabbed her snow-white shoulders. Under her surprised gaze, he twisted his waist and shifted his weight, powering his legs to flip them over.

In an instant, their positions reversed—Mo Chen now straddled her, and offense had become defense.

"Damn it!"

Nihilister's fair cheeks flushed red. Whether it was the effect of the drug or sheer anger, no one could tell. Her wine-red eyes tried to glare fiercely at Mo Chen, as if she would kill him on the spot.

"I'll kill you, you hear me?! I'll tear you apart!"

But in her current state—cheeks flushed like blood, breathing heavily—her ferocious glare lacked bite. Instead, the combination of her defiance and helplessness made one feel an overwhelming urge to conquer and torment her.

Her previously resistant body was now weak and powerless, displaying more of a "reluctantly willing" posture than anything else.

To Mo Chen, she now looked less like a terrifying dragon and more like a scruffy little wildcat puffing up in anger—way cuter than before.

Mo Chen said, "You curse like you're whining."

That sentence was like an arrow straight to the heart.

Nihilister's face went bright red. Her eyes snapped wide open as if she'd been deeply insulted, and she roared in embarrassment and rage.

"Bastard!!!! I'm going to kill you!"

But in her weakened state, she couldn't even get out from under him. Still, she refused to yield, launching into a stream of foul-mouthed insults.

Unfortunately, her vocabulary didn't seem to match her fiery temper. It was just the same few phrases recycled over and over—"bastard," "son of a bitch," "damn you," "your brain's full of water".

Even a grade-schooler could out-insult her with more variety.

Moreover, her mouth might've been fierce, but her body was far more honest.

"Kill me already!"

"Are you trying to humiliate me, you damn human?!"

"Can I ask you something? GET OFF ME!"

"Don't touch me with your filthy hands!"

"You want me to crawl like a human? Keep dreaming!"

"Don't bite my xx, damn you! What, didn't you get enough milk when you were younger?! Nothing will come out!"

"You bite me, I'll bite you back—rip it right off!"

"Ptuh! Disgusting!"

"Quit stalling, don't just rub it! Think I'll surrender? You got water for brains?!"

"Huff… huff… You, you… damn it, are you a dog?! Get off me!!!"

Nihilister was absurdly stubborn. Even in this kind of situation, she refused to concede—not even verbally. She even tried to wrestle over positioning, that unyielding, fiery spirit making her less like a dragon and more like a mule.

The whole time, she kept flailing and striking at Mo Chen—punching, kicking, gnashing her teeth.

But to Mo Chen, whose body was built like reinforced steel, her blows were more like tickles. At most, it felt like getting a back massage.

As for biting like she was chewing through metal—she nearly broke her own sharp teeth.

He finally grew impatient with her.

With one hand, he seized Nihilister's wrists, lifting them above her head. In the next moment, he made her experience what it truly meant to lose in "verbal combat" and "silver-tongued words."

Nihilister was left speechless, unable to form any arguments.

An hour had passed.

Finally, the fierce battle came to an end.

The land was scarred, pocked with craters, and everywhere was a wasteland. Crimson blood mixed with stream 'water' and other liquids, leaving marks of battle and destruction, showcasing the intensity of the conflict.

Once the dust settled, Nihilister had been defeated and retreated.

Mo Chen exhaled a breath of frustration.

This fire dragon was too wild! It took all his strength to subdue her.

Thankfully, the suppressant and its side effects had weakened her body and regeneration abilities. Without that, subduing her would have been nearly impossible.

Seeing the wreckage on the ground, Mo Chen took a piece of clothing from his system inventory and wrapped it around Nihilister, covering her modesty. After all, they were in a public place.

At this moment, Nihilister's eyes were glazed, her mouth drooling, and her body still frozen in its previous posture, seemingly knocked unconscious from the intense impact.

Nihilister, no matter how tough her words were, had never been in battle before and lacked experience. She could only rely on her naive instincts to fight, but how could she possibly be Mo Chen's opponent?

Her defeat was inevitable.

Mo Chen suddenly felt someone watching him. A chill ran down his spine, realizing he had been too careless earlier. He quickly turned around, and before he could act, he froze.

It was the twin sisters, standing not far away, staring at him with curious eyes.

Mo Chen let out a small sigh of relief. At least it was them, but then he realized, hadn't they just witnessed the battle?

He walked over and cleared his throat twice.

"You two, did you see anything just now?"

As soon as he said this, Mo Chen regretted it. It was as if he had just given himself away.

However, the twin sisters showed no reaction. Their expressions were calm, with no emotion, and their clear eyes seemed untainted by the world, almost too pure.

Mo Chen felt his face heat up under their gaze.

After all, they were just young girls. Fighting in front of them wasn't ideal.

He asked a few more times, but the twins still remained silent.

Mo Chen breathed a sigh of relief.

It seemed these two had just been born and didn't understand such things.

He felt a bit more at ease.

Just then, he suddenly sensed something, turning around and looking up at the sky.

A beautiful figure quickly flew toward him, like sakura petals drifting down, landing gracefully on the ground.

It was Dorothy.

The twin sisters immediately moved to stand in front of Mo Chen.

Mo Chen waved his hand to indicate they weren't enemies, and the twins moved back to his side.

Dorothy's beautiful eyes glanced at the twin sisters standing beside Mo Chen, her eyelashes trembling slightly. A flicker of something unusual flashed in her pupils, but she quickly masked it.

Mo Chen stepped forward, slightly blocking Nihilister behind him, and asked, "How's Eden?"

"The invading Rapture forces in Eden have been completely wiped out. It's safe now. We're in the process of clearing the area and assessing casualties," Dorothy replied nonchalantly.

"And these two are...?"
