Another 100 years have past. Civil wars come and go. Fashion and laws keeps changing. Currency used are changing with every new emperors. However they all remain the same. After every 10 years, they will all go back to the snow land and green forest. Sometimes they give shelter to some human. When those human stay too long, they send them away.
Hu Li mean while throughout those years, have evolve to understand how to be like a human. She blend in without people thinking that she is an odd ball. Hei continue his quest to help those in distress in the forest. However his appearance and strength have changed throughout the years. His fox appearances have evolved with a difference in his size. He is bigger than the average fox and have developed muscles. His diamonds coat is still shining when he morph into a human, his dark hair now contain the diamonds in it. Both Hu Li and Hei have an imprint on their arm. When they are engaged in a fight together, they just need to stand side up side to one hit on the opponent. A sure hit to destroy what is in front of them.
Fei and Hai occasionally will meet Hei and Hu Li. Fei now have a green amber glow on him. His phoenix bird form, the tips of his feathers are all red orange. The eyes like crystal. On his human form, his cloud like eyes remain the same. On the center of his forehead, there is a silver mark. His lips are rosy in color with gloss. Over the years he become vain and loves to visit brothel to hear girls complimenting his looks. In the human world, he now pretend he is a blind man because of his eyes. While Hai, from a sea serpent becomes a sea dragon with a more refine body he is able to swim faster. His dragon body is now with silver scales which have pearls on each scales. He now lives on land pretending to be a fisherman who lives near the shore. He saves human and sea creatures from danger that they are facing. After sometime, Master Wu moves out of green forest and live with him. Other people will assume that there is a family of grandfather and grandson living by the sea. In his human form, he is a ragged full beard man. With his grey hair tie at the back.His black nails are the only remaining tell tale sign that he is not a regular human. His hands are smooth, slim and long with nails that are sharp, pointy and they shine in the day as well as the night.
Dong Dong, Dong Wan and Dong Mei have slow down with the passage of time. Like Huan Xi previously they becomes less energetic and sleep more. Dong Dong even have signs of getting bad hearing and bad eye sight. Thus he remain as a dog more often than morning to a human form. HIs brother and sister take care of him everyday of their lives together. While Yang Yang eventually grow to have a voice. She become their younger sister who runs around doing house hold chores. She learn everything from Hu Li. They open a shop selling fresh vegetables which always sells out by the late morning. They all continue to stay with Meng Lan as she is the fortune cat. She can get them identity within the city they stay in. Every few years they all move away and return within 10 years.
Hu Li sometimes sit alone in her vegetable patch and look up the sky. Her sight brings her back to see the cosmo skies, a place of birth. She remember the cold icy place, Chang'e and her first friend the white rabbit who she thought was an injured animal who can't walk due to the hopping. So many years pass, she can't see where Chang'e have gone to. The moon shows her that no one is living there anymore. The dark skies become a lonely place for the quiet.
Hu Li when she is free she learn to dance from the brothel girls. They find Hu Li rather amusing and friendly. Thus they teach her to dance and play music instruments. Hu Li change her name to Yu'er in the present of the brothel girls. She spend some time with them and learn that Fei is one of the regular customers who comes by once in a blue moon. Thus they become close friends in the brothel. Hu Li will play her favourite music on the Pipa for Fei to enjoy. Since he pretend to be blind, there are no dancers to entertain him. However one day the madame from the brothel come looking for Hu Li in the inn. She is in a rush and look worry. Meng Lan bring Hu Li out to meet her.
"Yu'er! You have to help me!"
"Madame Han, what is wrong?"
"We received the money for a performance in the JunWang mansion! We are supposed to go now to the mansion but the main dancer is down with diarrhoea! She can't go dancing in this condition. The other girls are not taught to dance this theme. You are the one she have shown the steps! Can you save us please?!"
Madame Han goes down on her knees and look at Hu Li

Hu Li travel in the brothel's carriage with her dance outfit. It is red outfit with gold rim.Her red skirt is aline with gold rim and gold embroidery design. Her hair is pile up with gold hair accessories with small gold beads raining down on both side of the face. At the back of her hair is a huge hair pin that is push down to hold the hair. Her earring is a match to the side hair accessories.on her arm and feet, she is wearing bells that chime as she walks. Her nails are dye red at the tip. Her face is powder with white paint that stretch down her neck. Her eyebrows are re-shape with a brush paint with a dot and a small tail. Her eyes are line with dark charcoal. Her lips are painted red and two small red dots on each side of her lips.
She get off the carriage at the back door. As she walks the bells chime and the birds begin to follow her. The servants show her to the second floor. There is a red stain rope at the side of the balcony. Below she hear the men and woman talking and laughing. She calm her beating heart. Below she see the curtains hang around the round stage. The musicians are walking in and prepare themselves while siting. She remove her shoes and place them neatly on the side. Hu Li climb on the balcony and stand in the dark with the rope in her hands. She is waiting for the cue to ascend.
