Eduardo approached Luca, glanced at him from head to toe and smirked. He looked like he had just sneaked in. The suit fitted him perfectly but his red hair made him look like a gangster butler.
That wasn't his natural colour, but he has been using that particular colour since high school. That was the colour that fitted him well.
Luca bowed his head as soon as Eduardo reached his side.
"You're quite early," he said.
"I had to check in as early as I could. I can't afford to flop on my first day" he replied.
They headed down the stairs together, and they approached the dining room. Luca looked at Eduardo from behind. His steps slowed down as if his legs were getting weak.
"If you're tired, I could send your meal to your room," he said.
"Why? I'm fine" he responded.
"Fine? Everyone in the manor knows how many hours you spent with your new woman. I guess you two will be getting married soon" he rubbed his palms together.
