Mario and Nikolai stood in front of Marcello's room, arguing about who was going to reveal the news to them. Maria, who had even watched them display for over five minutes, sighed heavily.
"If you aren't going to tell him, then let me," she said.
"No!" They chorused. There was no way they could let Maria give the news to Marcello. They could start arguing or maybe exchange fists.
"Fine, I'll go in first. I'll leave the door slightly open so you can hear our discussion" Mario adjusted his glasses.
"Good idea. Go in first" they both agreed.
