Chapter 150 - Sceptile’s Blade Cuts Down Fossil!

2 million Poké Coins!

System storage space doubled!

Attribute Enhancement Cards x6!

Potential Boost Cards x6!

6x EXP Multiplier Cards x6!

8x EXP Multiplier Cards x6!

Finally, new rewards!

Ash felt a surge of excitement.

The Attribute Enhancement Card—this was a newly introduced reward. Its function was to strengthen a Pokémon's attribute power.

It worked similarly to held items, but unlike items, which once fused with a Pokémon's body prevented further item integration, this card broke those limitations.

There were no restrictions.

The card could enhance specific attributes of a Pokémon.

For example, if Ash used it on Charizard, which was both Fire and Flying type, he could apply one card to boost Fire-type power and another to enhance Flying-type abilities.

Of course, he couldn't stack both cards onto Fire-type alone, but even so—this was already game-breaking!

And then there were the 6x and 8x EXP Multiplier Cards—this was an amazing haul!

Just as he was processing all this, the doors of the Oreburgh Gym swung open.

A tall man with long hair stepped out.

Right behind him, a familiar figure followed—Paul.

The moment Paul laid eyes on Ash, his gaze immediately sharpened.

"How many Gym Badges do you have now?"

Paul rarely asked questions like this, but something about Ash's Pokémon felt incredibly strong. He couldn't ignore it.

Of course, Paul didn't expect an answer.

But to his surprise—Ash actually replied.

"This is my first."

He answered casually, not even giving Paul another glance before turning to the long-haired man—the Oreburgh Gym's referee.

"Excuse me, is Roark still inside the Gym?"**

The man immediately realized Ash was another challenger.

"Ah, you're here to battle as well? I'm afraid Roark isn't available at the moment. He's leading a fossil excavation team at the Oreburgh Mine. They've just discovered a new batch of Pokémon fossils, and he's currently supervising the dig. He won't be able to leave for now."

Oreburgh Mine?

Ash nodded thoughtfully before turning to Dawn and Anabel.

"Let's go check it out. Oreburgh is famous for its fossils, and I'm sure Dawn hasn't seen any up close before."

"Yes! Yes! That sounds awesome! I can't wait to see some fossils!"

"I agree! But, uh… Ash, do you even know where the Oreburgh Mine is?" Anabel asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ash nodded confidently. "It's simple. Judging by the geological formations around here, it's obvious where the mining site should be."

Dawn and Anabel both looked at him in admiration.

Ash just seemed to know everything.

Meanwhile, Paul clenched his jaw.

Ash had barely acknowledged him—just thrown him a casual response before completely ignoring him again.

Gritting his teeth, Paul followed. He was curious to see what kind of Trainer Roark was.

Oreburgh Mine

The Oreburgh Mine was famous for its fossils, which were frequently unearthed here.

Roark was a fossil enthusiast, even going so far as to personally apply for the position of lead excavator.

At this very moment, he had just emerged from the mine, cradling a newly discovered Omanyte fossil in his hands.

"Just look at this… A greeting from Pokémon of millions—even billions—of years ago. Isn't it incredible?"

Roark's eyes sparkled with fascination as he admired the fossil.

Every fossil unearthed here was transported to the Oreburgh Fossil Research Museum, where they were carefully analyzed and, in some cases, revived using advanced technology.

The revived Pokémon were then transferred to a special biome, designed to replicate prehistoric environments as closely as possible.

Today was no different.

As Roark prepared to transport the fossils, his phone suddenly rang.

"Hello, this is Roark."

A frantic voice came through the receiver.

"Roark! We have a serious problem! Someone stole one of our fossil revival machines! And… There was a Pokémon inside—it was an Aerodactyl!"

Roark's expression darkened.

"WHAT?! Who did this?!"

"It's worse than that! The thieves are now attacking the museum! They're trying to steal more fossils!"

Roark's grip on his Poké Ball tightened.

"Come on, Cranidos! We have to stop them!"

"Soka!"

Before he could take off—

"Hahaha! No need to rush! We've already arrived!"

"That's right! We'll be taking that Cranidos, too!"

"Leave it to meow!"

It was Team Rocket!

Jessie, James, and Meowth had successfully stolen one of the revival machines. Not only that, but they had converted it into a giant mecha, using it to shield the stolen machine inside.

The revival chamber swung open—

Emerging from within was a freshly revived Aerodactyl!

"RAAAAAARRRRGH!!"

Aerodactyl, a Pokémon known for its incredibly aggressive nature, immediately went berserk upon awakening.

The moment it saw the crowd of humans—it charged at them in a rage!

"Cranidos, use Flamethrower! Stop that Aerodactyl!"

Roark could see that the Aerodactyl was using Giga Impact!

Cranidos unleashed a Flamethrower, striking Aerodactyl head-on.

It did nothing.

"Damn it… That's not enough…"

Roark gritted his teeth.

"Come out, Onix! Use Tackle to stop Team Rocket's mecha!"

"ROOOOARRR!!"

Onix slammed into Team Rocket's machine, successfully halting their advance.

But Aerodactyl…

It had barely been affected by Cranidos' attack.

The prehistoric Pokémon swooped down, its Giga Impact completely overpowering Cranidos' defense.

Cranidos tried to brace itself, pushing against the incoming attack—

But it was being overpowered.

Right at that moment—

A blinding green blur shot forward!

"Sceptile, use Leaf Blade!"

"CHA-MO!!"

Splat!

At that precise moment—just as Aerodactyl's momentum began to wane—
