Because of the frustration he had been holding in, Claire ended up punching Flint in the face until the Omega man fell to the ground. He whimpered in pain as he felt such a hard blow to his face that his cheek swelled slightly.
"Damn, that hurts! Why did you hit me that hard?" he asked while holding his sore cheek.
"Are you still asking why I hit you that hard?!"
Claire's blue eyes stared intently at him. It was as if he could have killed him right then and there but because he knew his pregnant condition. Claire chose to defuse his emotions. He didn't want anything to happen to his womb, because of his temper exploding like this.
