"Sir, how should I address you from now on?"
High in the sky, Fu looked at Uchiha Mirai, a little nervous as she asked the question.
Mirai patted her head gently. "Fu, just call me Mirai-sama from now on."
Fu obediently nodded. "Yes, Mirai-sama."
Seeing how tense she was, Uchiha Mirai spoke softly. "Fu, there's no need to be so nervous."
Just as Fu was about to reply, he continued, "After all, it's not like I'm a good person…"
"Eh?!"
Fu looked up in shock, only to see the smile on his face. Realizing he was teasing her, she let out a quiet sigh of relief.
Mirai-sama has a pretty interesting way of talking.
Looking at the adorable girl before him, Mirai asked again, "Fu, once we arrive in Konoha, is there anything you'd like to do?"
Hearing this, Fu lowered her head, a trace of sadness appearing in her expression.
"Ever since I can remember, I've been raised as the next Seven-Tails Jinchuriki."
"Everything I've learned was about controlling the tailed beast, making sure the Seven-Tails wouldn't break through its seal."
"But now..." She sneaked a glance at Mirai before continuing, "You've sealed the Seven-Tails inside yourself, Mirai-sama. I have no value anymore."
"That's why the village let me follow you to Konoha."
"My life... no longer has any meaning."
After listening to her long monologue, Mirai reached out and flicked her forehead.
"Ow—!"
He let out a small snort. "What does a three-year-old know about the meaning of life?"
"As long as you're alive, you will always have a purpose."
"Besides, you weren't abandoned by Takigakure. I was the one who personally decided to bring you with me to Konoha."
Fu's eyes widened in surprise. "Mirai-sama, is that true?"
Mirai pointed at himself, speaking casually. "Do you think just anyone can follow me around?"
Fu thought about it carefully and realized he was right.
Before leaving Takigakure, the village elders had specifically told her stories about Uchiha Mirai's feats. A figure of his stature certainly wouldn't let just anyone follow him.
"So..." Mirai gently ruffled her hair. "From now on, just think of me as the meaning of your life."
Fu nodded seriously. "Mirai-sama, you are now the Seven-Tails Jinchuriki. You have given me a new purpose."
"From today onward, you are the reason I exist in this world."
As the next Seven-Tails Jinchuriki, Fu had personally witnessed how tragic Yamamoto Shou's fate had been. If not for Uchiha Mirai, she might have met the same end.
So…
Since Mirai had given her a new life, then from now on, her life would revolve around him!
Seeing Fu's determined expression, Mirai couldn't help but feel amused.
The little girls of the ninja world are really easy to... No, wait… they're just too adorable.
After arriving in Konoha, Fu was utterly speechless at the sight before her.
The village, now restructured and modernized under Mirai's vision, was simply overwhelming for someone who had spent her entire life in Takigakure.
She had never imagined that the world outside her village could look like this.
Towering buildings, clean and orderly streets, bustling crowds, rows upon rows of shops… and even enormous screens displaying advertisements!
Everything filled her with a sense of wonder.
Seeing her reaction, Mirai took her hand. "Fu, this is your home now. You'll have plenty of time to explore and understand everything."
Fu looked up at him in disbelief. "Mirai-sama, can I really live here?"
To her, this place felt like paradise.
Could she truly belong here?
Mirai smiled warmly. "Of course. Not only will you live here, but your life will be better than most people in this village."
"Come on, I'll take you to our home."
With that, he led Fu toward the Uchiha district.
Upon arriving at his residence, Fu was once again left in awe.
Compared to this, Takigakure was nothing!
"Fu, if you ever need anything, just let me know."
"Understood, Mirai-sama."
Smiling, Mirai ruffled her hair one last time before stepping out of her courtyard.
Looking at his once-empty residence now filled with people, Mirai felt a deep sense of satisfaction.
All these beautiful women, these adorable girls—every single one of them had been characters he loved before he came to this world.
And now, they were all living by his side.
No one else could possibly understand this feeling.
Leaving Fu's courtyard, Mirai headed back to his own home.
Inside, Tsunade, Shizune, Konan, and Uchiha Mikoto were gathered around, enjoying some sweets.
The moment he stepped in, they immediately turned to him.
Tsunade was the first to speak. "Mirai, how did things go in Takigakure?"
Seeing their curious expressions, Mirai briefly recounted the events.
Then, he took out a porcelain bottle from his robes.
"Shizune, take this Hero Water to Orochimaru. Have him study it and see if it can be mass-produced."
Shizune nodded immediately. "Yes, Mirai-sama."
As she left, Tsunade scoffed. "Such a good girl… ruined by a certain bastard."
Mirai chuckled. "If you really think about it, it all started because a certain gambler racked up a mountain of debt."
Hearing this, Tsunade fell silent.
He wasn't wrong.
If not for her, Shizune would never have ended up serving Mirai.
Still, transitioning from her former student to her current… ? That was something Tsunade hadn't quite gotten used to.
"Alright, I've been out for a few days, and it's been dull as hell. How about we have a game night?"
The women exchanged glances before shaking their heads with a smile.
"We'll pass on the games."
"Mirai, you probably don't know this yet, but during your absence, Kurenai and Rin have moved in."
"Oh?" Mirai raised an eyebrow. "Did Anko approve?"
Konan chuckled. "You should thank Tsunade for that. She arranged for Anko to be reassigned out of Konoha."
Uchiha Mirai laughed. "Tsunade, from this day forth, I name you the Queen of the Harem!"
With that, he disappeared in an instant.
Watching him leave in such a hurry, Tsunade let out a helpless sigh.
To think that Rin—who was practically her half-student—was now going to end up like Shizune.
Sigh…
What kind of karma was this?!
