Chapter 209 - Chapter 194: The Trump Card

"Oh, no no no."

Stormfront pointed at the table with a smirk and said, "Don't reach for that gun underneath. You should know it's useless against me."

Mallory had already swiftly drawn her pistol, aiming it at Stormfront: "Who the hell cares what you say, bitch!"

Bang bang bang bang!

Gunshots echoed through the house, and one by one, the deformed, twisted bullets fell at Stormfront's feet.

In the blink of an eye, Mallory emptied the entire magazine.

Stormfront crossed her arms, whistled, and looked completely at ease.

"Tsk, you bitch!"

Mallory lowered her gun and said, "Are you really that happy being Homelander's dog?"

"That's a really hurtful thing to say, ma'am."

Stormfront shook her head. "You could say I've made the smart choice."

"Who wouldn't want to live a good life?"

"This world is so wonderful."

"There's endless delicious food, endless beautiful clothes."

"So many charming princes to please you, and all kinds of entertainment."

"I can't bear to die. If I die, I'll lose everything."

"Look at me—so young, so beautiful."

"Wouldn't it be a shame to lie in a cold grave?"

"Not like you, ma'am."

"You're old and ugly. If you die, no one would even mourn for you."

"How pathetic."

Suddenly, electricity surged around Stormfront's body as she lunged at Mallory, smashing tables and chairs to pieces.

She reached out and lifted Mallory off the ground.

Stormfront waved her hand: "Well then, goodbye?"

Mallory's lips curled slightly: "You don't dare kill me, bitch."

"If you kill me, how will you explain it to Homelander?"

"I bet he told you to bring me to him—or at least find me."

"But I'm sure 'killing me' wasn't part of the plan."

Stormfront feigned surprise and said, "You're so smart, ma'am."

"But why can't I just make up an excuse?"

"For example, my hand slipped, and I accidentally killed you."

"After all, you ordinary people are so fragile, especially at your age."

"You're weaker than ants."

Mallory remained unfazed: "Oh really? Then do it, bitch."

"But let me remind you—if I die, every major media outlet in the country will receive a very interesting email."

"Care to guess what's in it?"

Stormfront burst out laughing: "It's not your nude photos, is it, ma'am?"

"Go to hell, slut."

"No, maybe I should call you 'Liberty'?"

Mallory said with disdain.

Stormfront's expression finally shifted.

"What did you just say?"

Mallory smiled. "I was talking about a bitch named 'Liberty'—a racist, a woman steeped in sin."

"That's you, isn't it?"

"I saw that video of you killing Butcher."

"I recognized you at first glance."

"It shocked me."

"Back then, Vought had to clean up so many messes for you."

"Who'd have thought that after all these years, you haven't changed a bit."

"How old are you, exactly?"

"Seventy?"

"Or a hundred?"

"You're truly a living fossil."

Stormfront's mouth formed an 'O': "Has anyone ever told you how foul your mouth is?"

"My God, how do you even come up with such hurtful words?"

"But I still have to admire you."

"As expected of a CIA veteran—you know so much. That's really surprising."

"Yes, that's right."

"Over forty years ago, I was indeed called 'Liberty'."

"And even earlier, I had other names."

"But so what?"

"Do you really think your little stash of dirt can threaten me?"

Stormfront laughed loudly. "You probably don't even know how powerful Homelander is now."

"Not only is he insanely strong, but his influence is terrifying."

"He's the shadow owner of Vought. If you'd watched the news today, you'd know he's also taken over that Olga Corporation."

"If you send your files to the media, do you think they'd publish them right away?"

"No, they'd ask Vought for permission first, and then those files would be destroyed."

"We only let the masses see what we want them to see."

"Whether it's the government or Vought, it's the same."

"You worked at the CIA—surely you've seen this kind of thing before?"

"So stop acting so naive. Even if you're not as old as I am, you're way past your teenage years, aren't you?"

Mallory's expression darkened slightly.

Stormfront spread her hands. "Go on, show me whatever trump cards you've got left."

"I want to see what other surprises you have for me."

"But if you've got nothing, don't blame me for what happens next."

Mallory took a deep breath. "I have a weapon that can deal with Homelander."

Stormfront froze, then burst into laughter. "Don't make me laugh, you old hag. What kind of weapon could you possibly have that can hurt Homelander?"

"If you really had one, why wouldn't you use it already?"

"Why wait until I came knocking?"

She shook her head, wiping a tear from her eye. "So disappointing, ma'am."

"Seems like you're out of moves. Otherwise, you wouldn't say something so ridiculous."

"Siberia."

Mallory said confidently, "That weapon is in Siberia. He can deal with Homelander—and all you super scumbags!"

Stormfront narrowed her eyes slightly. "You said 'he,' not 'it.'"

"So… it's a Supe?"

Mallory didn't respond.

Stormfront shrugged. "Then how do you prove this 'weapon' can actually work against Homelander?"

Mallory smirked, beckoning Stormfront closer.

Then she whispered something in her ear.

"What?!"

Stormfront's face filled with shock. After a moment, she laughed. "But what does that have to do with me? I'm not betraying Homelander."

Mallory scoffed. "Cut the crap. I know exactly what kind of person you are."

"The only reason you haven't killed me yet is because you want to find out if there's a way to counter Homelander."

"Now that I've given it to you, you're scared?"

"Well? I know where to find this weapon."

"I can take you there."

Stormfront's smile faded. "But if I don't bring you back, Homelander will kill me."

"I'm guessing he's already impatient. I need to go back and show my face soon."

Mallory shrugged. "Maybe you can bring my 'corpse' back instead."

Stormfront grinned. "Ma'am, DNA testing isn't exactly new technology."

Mallory nodded. "Of course. But do you really think Homelander would personally run the DNA test?"

"No, that bastard would just read the report!"
