"Mr. Lopez! Haha... I really didn't expect to see you here; I thought you old chap might have kicked the bucket." Another man's hearty laughter came from outside.

When Jonathan Lopez went out, the private room door was not fully closed, so the several people inside all heard the conversation. Emily Lopez pouted and said, "Who knows which of my dad's old comrades this is, speaking so out of tune."
Gina Lopez agreed deeply; their father, usually talking quite normally to others, occasionally putting on airs, but as soon as he met an old comrade, he would definitely adopt that sort of tone.
Mrs. Lopez shook her head with a smile and said, "We don't know who it is, but looks like your father is going to be out messing around again tonight."
