The cleaning company that Dalton hired was working, keeping the mansion spotless, when Dalton sauntered in, his phone tucked in his ear as he argued with Marcello. "How did you even find her?"
"I went to the restaurant she works at because I wanted to have lunch with her. A waiter directed me to a table where she was sitting. I found her with her head sprawled on the table, passed out. Then I took her straight to your mansion and immediately called Oliver to come check on her. That was it," Marcello explained.
"You should have called to tell me about it!" Dalton yelled, angry and distressed.
Marcello's groans came through the phone. It seems his gun wound was being treated. "I was busy preparing for the rescue mission. You know, the sex trafficking girls I had to rescue."
Marcello's explanations didn't do much to subdue Dalton's anger. He was still upset with him, but he didn't argue further.
"Thanks for bringing her home. How is your arm?" he asked, concerned.
