Orson was astonished. A level 25 Lord-Class boss could indeed drop an A-Class magic book, but the chance was as slim as winning the lottery...
Most mages who wanted an A-Class or higher magic book, without tons of gold to burn, usually obtained them through difficult mage guild chain quests.
Some had calculated that the probability of a Lord-Class boss under level 30 dropping orange items was between 0.1% and 0.2%.
Of course, large organized guilds were the exception—these guilds had no shortage of grinders who could farm hundreds of dungeon runs.
