Orson couldn't help but cheer. This boss had actually dropped some nice loot! It was worth using the rare artifact that had a 12-hour cooldown to survive!
A level 25 [Thieving Mage Assassin] rogue hero weapon and a level 25 [Warlord's Shoulder Armor] warrior
armor.
And then...
"Damn! It's not legendary equipment... this is... an A-Class magic book!"
Orson was astonished. A level 25 Lord-Class boss could indeed drop an A-Class magic book, but the chance was as slim as winning the lottery...
Most mages who wanted an A-Class or higher magic book, without tons of gold to burn, usually obtained them through difficult mage guild chain quests.
Some had calculated that the probability of a Lord-Class boss under level 30 dropping orange items was between 0.1% and 0.2%.
Of course, large organized guilds were the exception—these guilds had no shortage of grinders who could farm hundreds of dungeon runs.
Orson checked the battle log. The Orc Heretic title hadn't been triggered.
