Chapter 296 - Chapter 34: A Single Arrow Strikes the Sky

The Raphael · El Re'em and Raphael · El Na'ash, the two Angels, were both AA-level Angels.

Although, as battle spirits, their ranks were slightly inferior to the AAA-level Ravaging Devil or the Extinction Angel, they were still on par with the AA-level Blazing Extermination Devil.

But don't forget, whether it's the El Re'em or El Na'ash, both are incomplete Angels.

When they fused together, forming the true Angel of Wind Spirits, El Kanaph, they were at least AAA-level Angels, even if they hadn't reached S-level!

Yuzuru Yamai and Kaguya Yamai, one on the left and the other on the right, simultaneously drew the bow and poured vast spiritual energy into the fused Angel.

At this moment, it felt as if all the winds of the world were gathered at the tip of that awe-inspiring arrow.

"No! No, no, no! What kind of Devils are you?! How do you possess such terrifying power?!"

The Real Estate Devil, feeling the overwhelming wind energy continuously compressing and converging, felt fear for the first time in its life.

It pushed its public share power to the limit, trying to siphon off the power of the El Kanaph.

But the strength was far beyond its level, and only true Wind Spirits could harness it.

The vile thief, upon touching it, would immediately be repelled.

The Real Estate Devil's greatest reliance lost its effect, and it was now certain that if it was hit, its outer armor wouldn't provide even the slightest defense.

Under the power that could make the heavens bow, the Real Estate Devil finally couldn't bear the pressure. It shed its outer armor and, using its crab-like mechanical legs, wildly fled toward the sea.

Though its body was as massive as a mountain, its speed wasn't slow at all.

Its only hope of survival was to escape into the sea.

"Hmph, think you can escape?"

But the Yamai sisters wouldn't let its wish be granted.

The charge in El Kanaph quickly reached its limit, and after gathering the wind spirits' energy, the power woven within was so immense that even they, controlling it together, still felt slightly strained.

With a terrifying momentum, the arrow was aimed at the Real Estate Devil, now an easy target.

Then, both of them released the string simultaneously.

The winds and clouds seemed to change color.

"Whoosh——!"

The arrow pierced the sky as if it were a falling star, flying at supersonic speed toward the Real Estate Devil.

The arrow smashed through everything in its path, tearing it into countless pieces without the slightest obstruction.

Almost the moment the Yamai sisters let go, a massive hole, covering half of the Real Estate Devil's body, appeared.

The arrow itself wasn't that big, but the power it carried was enough to utterly destroy half of the Real Estate Devil, which was as massive as a mountain, and pin it firmly to the ground.

The speed was so fast that the Real Estate Devil didn't even realize it had taken a fatal blow.

Even though it still had its outer armor, its fate wouldn't change. But in its desperation to escape, it had discarded that armor, and now its doom was sealed.

The full force of El Kanaph didn't stop there.

After pinning the Real Estate Devil down, the shockwave flattened most of the buildings in the city.

Dust filled the sky, but the ground, as if plowed, stood out starkly.

At that moment, the reporter and cameraman in the helicopter, zooming in to the extreme, saw this scene and were left speechless.

"Just one shot."

Just one shot, and the Devil that had ruled over Vietnam for half a month, defeating countless Devil hunters and military forces, was struck down here.

Though many details couldn't be seen clearly due to the distance, the sight of the Real Estate Devil falling and not getting back up was beyond doubt.

The people of Vietnam, watching the blurry figures in the sky on their televisions, felt not only joy but also awe.

In the Presidential Office, the Prime Minister of Vietnam had a troubled look on his face.

"One of my biggest cities just disappeared in an instant?!" The Prime Minister felt as if he were dreaming. "What a joke. That Real Estate Devil rampaged for half a month and only caused about a third of the buildings to be destroyed!"

Although the Devil had been eliminated, the city that had been the battleground was now almost reduced to nothing.

Those who didn't know might think that Vietnam had gone to war with another country.

Up until now, the greatest property loss Vietnam had suffered during its Devil extermination efforts was just a single district.

At this moment, the Prime Minister even regretted trusting the Japanese government's words.

Is this the "kind-hearted Devil" they talked about?

What exactly do they consider brutal?

The losses and the rewards of this battle were completely disproportionate!

Meanwhile, the Yamai sisters, having dealt with the enemy, looked at their work with satisfaction.

Kaguya Yamai thought for a moment, and the arrow that had pinned the Real Estate Devil down, the El Re'em, returned to her hand.

"Very good. The first task is perfectly completed. It's time to move on to the next country that needs our help."

Kaguya Yamai looked toward the northwest.

"Laos people! Don't worry! We're coming to help you!"

Meanwhile, in Hell.

A Devil, hiding in a safe place to heal, slowly opened its eyes.

Feeling an unfamiliar power flowing into its body, the Devil frowned in confusion.

It was the Wind Devil, one of the highest-ranking elemental Devils in Hell.

However, in recent days, its power had been rapidly draining at an astonishing rate, severely weakening it.

The only possible explanation it could think of was simple.

There was a Devil on Earth using its name, doing good deeds everywhere.

This infuriated it to no end. It could hardly wait to reincarnate on Earth after committing suicide in Hell, just to personally kill the imposter.

But that wasn't the worst part.

The worst part was that the loss of its power had been discovered by its enemies, leading to relentless pursuit.

Even weakened, it still managed to narrowly escape death time and time again, using the Wind Devil's speed.

But if its enemies discovered its condition again, it might truly die in Hell and have to reincarnate on Earth.

"My power seems to be returning. Could it be that the imposter on Earth was killed?"

The Wind Devil speculated, its hatred growing even deeper in its heart.

"That damned fool, you'd better hope I don't encounter you in Hell. Otherwise, I'll rip your head off!"
