It has been two weeks since I was brought to the mansion, Eryndor's attitude hasn't changed much towards me; he is still suspicious of me and doesn't let me out of the mansion, but I'm free to roam around in the mansion, escorted by Linza, who doesn't fail to tell That "the moment you try something I will kill you". All that aside, I haven't seen Eryndor for three days, which is unusual as he came every day for dinner.
I asked Linza, and she ignored me like she didn't hear me, so I asked again, and she said, "It's not something you should worry about." She looked very frustrated, so I didn't ask again.
A week went by, and Eryndor didn't visit the mansion.
Linza seemed to be bothered by it, so I didn't ask her. And asked one of the guards about the situation, he told me that the general went to meet the king and other nobles, he said he wasn't sure about the details, but it had something to do with me and the mage who came back from the dead.
I was about to ask him about the mage when I was interrupted by a soldier in fancy armor and a stupid helmet. The guard said, "Hello, sir, what brings you here?" he looked at the guard and said, "I came to deliver a message to the headmaid".
As he was leaving, he ordered the guard I was talking to, "You're not to speak with the prisoner" in a discriminating tone.
I instinctively said, "What would I talk to a guard about state secrets?" he looked at me and walked away.
After he left, the guard I was talking to told me to be careful around him because he was a royal knight, Sir Saim Lemhart. After that, he asked me to leave cause he didn't want to get in trouble with a Royal Knight.
So I left as I was walking in the corridor, I saw how talking to Linza and she seemed like she was worried. But I didn't want them to think I was eavesdropping, so I went to the garden of the mansion, which was in the middle of the mansion, a place that relaxed me.
After a while, Linza came. I was sitting in the garden pavilion. She sat on the bench before me, she looked quite stressed. I asked her if everything was okay. You look stressed. She sighed and said, "Lord Eryndor went to meet the King and discuss a few matters with him, and you were also one of the subjects he had to discuss with him. There, Lady Allennor Bloomsberg took an interest in you and is going to visit you to determine if you are a threat or not. The King also ordered it, so we have to comply."
"It doesn't sound so bad for you to be worried about it," I said. Then she replied, "While the lady is a kind soul but she also has a different side to her that not many know about, and you should brace yourself. "
"Wh..what side is that?" I nervously asked.
Linza replied You will know when she will visit, and you should be very careful around her about lying. If she catches you lying to her, you're dead.
"Why are you worried about me all of a sudden?" I asked her, she smirked and said, "I'm not worried about a prisoner, I just don't want Lord Eryndor to clean up the mess." By the way she said it and the expressions she had while saying it, I knew she was serious.
Then she said, "I have to prepare a room for her, so I'm leaving, and know that I warned you," and left.
The next three days, I spent worrying about what would happen to me if Lady Allennor thinks I'm a threat to them.
