I'm so tired.
Three days. Three godsdamned days of nonstop fighting. No proper rest, no real sleep. Just blood, webs, screaming, and the skittering sound of those cursed legs.
These creatures are endless.
But at least we've made progress. We're deeper now—lower into the belly of this nightmare. Closer to the hive's heart. Closer to her.
I'm slouched in something resembling a chair, if you can call it that. A crude thing I jammed together with brute force and frustration. Four thick spider legs rammed into the wall, bent into awkward supports. Surprisingly sturdy. Morbidly satisfying.
The webbed floor is quiet for the moment. The others are still fighting, trying to keep a perimeter intact while the rest of the team clears a path forward. Some of them barely have the strength to lift their weapons, but they're still pushing forward. That's the kind of hell this place is—where giving up isn't even an option.
