He ran his hand through the girl's waterfall-like brown hair.
Her nightdress and other clothes had been kicked into a chaotic mess somewhere unknown, and Zhou Sinin poked an arm out from under the covers, rubbing her eyes.
"Are you hungry? I brought you breakfast."
"I want some water..."
Zhou Sinin's voice was hoarse, a gulp in her throat as she clutched the corner of the blanket to cover her body.
When Lu Jincheng brought over a cup of water, she tried to grab her nightdress from under the bed, but her legs gave out, and she collapsed onto the floor with a thud, unable to stand up after a couple of attempts.
"It's all your fault! I hate you!"
The man suppressed a laugh and didn't speak, moving to Zhou Sinin's side, who was grinding her teeth with frustration, and picked her up.
"I'll run a bath for you so you can soak for a bit; you'll feel better after."
"..."
Zhou Sinin hesitated, feeling utterly exhausted, and eventually nodded.
