Yang Xu told Shi Feiyang that the handsome one was his third junior brother, Hu Yanxian, and the beggar-looking one was his second junior brother, Chen Taizhen.
Looking down, Shi Feiyang saw that although Chen Taizhen was not handsome, his innate qualities were the best. His Daoist power and mana were not only stronger than Hu Yanxian's but also surpassed Yang Xu, the eldest among the disciples. Yang Xu and Hu Yanxian's Flying Swords were white, but Chen Taizhen's was five-colored–blue, red, yellow, white, and black–glimmering with radiance, quite extraordinary.
Chen Taizhen, who had been practicing asceticism among the common people as a beggar, helped the poor and the weak and fought against the strong. He had once traveled through the Five Mountains, collecting quintessence of the land's vital energy to refine into his sword and had thus been nicknamed "The Wanderer of the Five Mountains."
