"We should go now." Yoru turned toward Ito and Aira, his voice calm but firm. His sharp lavender eyes glanced at the clock—past five.
"Okay!" Ito and Aira responded in unison, their voices ringing with agreement.
But Yoru had other thoughts running through his head.
Maybe we should merge. It's already past five, and there might be some attack.
With that decision made, he turned toward Aira. Taking a few slow steps forward, he knelt down in front of her, his gaze locking onto hers.
"Aira, let's merge." He spoke the words gently, but with certainty. A soft smile played on his lips.
Aira's entire face lit up at his words. A dazzling sparkle appeared in her black eyes, as if she had been waiting for this moment. Her breath caught in her throat, her heart skipping a beat before hammering against her ribs. Her entire body felt warm, a shiver running down her spine.
"Yes, Master!" she answered without hesitation. She didn't need a reason to kiss him. She never did.
