To the west of the Central Plains lay the only part of the four realms truly under the governance of the Central Plains.
Although the court's influence in the Western Regions could hardly be said to be completely ineffective, it wasn't particularly significant either. But at least officially, the Western Regions were still a dependency of the Daqian Court and thus, the Central Plains.
And in this land of the Western Regions, there were only two colors, blue and yellow.
The sky was blue, the earth was yellow, and aside from these two colors, no others could be seen.
These two colors represented not only the sky and the earth but also the local dominant sects.

The Nalanda Temple had moved there from elsewhere, for the true Nalanda Temple, built within the now-extinct Peacock Dynasty, was the ancestral home of Buddhism, the birthplace of its teachings.
