Evan took the space backpack handed over by Gallade.
Without hesitation, he opened it directly and saw the used Poké Balls inside.
He took them out immediately.
Evan's attention was entirely focused on the Poké Balls, so he didn't notice the Pokémon snacks in the space bag.
This was because the two were stored in separate compartments.
The Pokémon snacks Rosa had given him were in another section.
Taking out all the used Poké Balls, he opened them.
Not long after, a group of Electric-type Pokémon was released.
These Electric Pokémon weren't causing trouble.
Instead, they looked around curiously.
Clearly, Gallade had already communicated with them when they were captured.
Or perhaps Dragonite had spoken to them.
This group of Electric Pokémon had all been tamed voluntarily.
"Electrike, Magnemite, Magneton, Horsea...?"
"Haven't you caught any Voltorb or Electrode?"
Looking at the Pokémon, Evan noticed only two types of Electric Pokémon and also a water type.
This left him puzzled.
After hearing Evan's observation, Gardevoir offered an explanation.
"Those Pokémon are prone to exploding and are too dangerous to bring back."
"They explode when they're angry, so we didn't catch them."
"These are much better."
When Evan heard this, he nodded in agreement.
Indeed.
Those Pokémon are known to explode often.
However, the ones they had were more than sufficient.
There were over ten in total.
Satisfied, Evan turned his attention to the Horsea.
"These little ones... let's send them to the water."
He noticed that the Horsea were gazing in Dragonite's direction and realized something.
They were likely Dragonite's followers, brought here together.
Gardevoir nodded at Evan's suggestion.
Using Teleport, Gardevoir promptly sent the Horsea to the nearby lake.
Evan then focused on organizing the Electric Pokémon.
"You guys, come with me."
"I'll take you to your new home."
With that, Evan led them toward the newly built electric house in the distance.
Seeing this, the Pokémon like Magnemite, Magneton, and Electrike hurriedly followed.
From this point forward, this human would be their caretaker.
With food and shelter provided, they had no complaints and were obedient.
Evan guided them into the electric house and spoke to the group.
"This will be your home from now on."
"If you're living here, you'll have to help out."
"See those electric panels?"
"You'll need to charge them by supplying electricity."
"The energy stored here will last for several days."
"In three days, I'll activate this place and switch the local power supply to this generator."
"On second thought, explaining might be pointless."
"Just generate electricity here as needed."
Evan felt helpless as he noticed their confused expressions.
He decided to keep it simple and stop explaining.
Hearing Evan's instructions, the Pokémon nodded.
Even if they didn't entirely understand, they got the basic idea.
Where could they discharge their energy?
With this thought in mind, several Pokémon began experimenting right away.
They used Thunder Shock on the electric panels in the distance.
The lightning struck and was immediately absorbed.
Then, the power in the battery pack showed 1%.
Seeing this, Evan suddenly laughed.
The capacity of these batteries was astonishing.
He had to admit, some inventions in this world were incredibly practical.
It wasn't in vain that he had spent millions to acquire them.
"Alright."
"This will be your home from now on."
"Pikachu, take them outside to get familiar with their surroundings. Also, show them where they'll be eating from now on," Evan called out.
Hearing his instructions, Pikachu hurried over.
"Pika~~!"
Pikachu waved at the Electric Pokémon, motioning for them to follow.
Upon hearing about food, the Pokémon excitedly rushed out one by one.
With this group of Electric Pokémon, Evan figured he wouldn't have to pay an electricity bill ever again.
The residual electricity these Pokémon leaked daily would be enough to sustain the normal operations of all the houses around him.
Of course, Evan wasn't entirely reliant on them.
The circuits had already been completed, ensuring that even if these Pokémon didn't generate electricity, the system would switch to a backup power source when needed. However, the electricity from the power house would always be prioritized.
Watching the group leave, Evan headed to the warehouse.
Since Gardevoir and the others had helped subdue a Dragonite, the next step was preparing food for it.
Some Dragon-type supplies had run out and needed restocking.
Previously, when preparing for Eli's Pokémon, Evan had already depleted most of the materials at home.
Surveying the materials in the warehouse, Evan grabbed a notebook and began taking inventory.
For the items he was missing, he planned to place an order immediately, ensuring delivery from the fruit supplier the next day.
While Evan was making notes, his cell phone vibrated.
Taking it out, he saw a message from Violet.
Violet:
[Prepare some Fairy-type energy cubes.]
[I'll be bringing a strange woman over the day after tomorrow.]
[If the energy cubes you make satisfy her, she'll probably be very happy!]
Evan stared at the message, puzzled.
What was this supposed to mean?
Who was this "strange woman"?
What exactly was Violet up to?
Evan couldn't help muttering.
"What is this?"
"What woman?"
"Are you trying to introduce me to Miss Fairy?"
After grumbling for a bit, Evan decided to respond.
Evan:
[Got it.]
[Do you want top-tier ones?]
[Any sub-types required?]
[No specifications?]
Violet:
[No specifications.]
[Just Fairy-type.]
[If asked, just say they're samples.]
This piqued Evan's curiosity.
Fairy-type Elite? Champion? Gym Leader?
He knew the Fairy-type Gym Leader was a normal woman.
But there were no Fairy-type Elites in the China.
Could this be for a potential Elite pre-selection?
The thought left Evan puzzled.
The known Elite categories in the China were Dragon, Fire, Dark, and Ground.
Fairy-type wasn't among them.
After pondering for a while and reaching no conclusions, Evan decided to stop overthinking.
"Fairy type."
"I need to restock Big Mushrooms."
"And Roseli Berries, Pink Apricorns, Bright Powder, Stardust."
Quickly taking stock of his supplies, Evan made a list of the items to order.
With everything recorded, Evan turned and left the warehouse.
Outside, Gardevoir and Gallade were already enjoying a meal with Dragonite.
Isla and the other assistants were watching Dragonite intently.
When they first saw Dragonite, its sudden appearance had clearly shocked them.
Evan's gaze, however, landed on the Pokémon snacks set out on the table.
