Chapter 127 - Preparing for the Final Challenge

The chilly November breeze swept through the corridors of the university as students bustled about, preparing for the upcoming exams. The final semester was reaching its climax, and tension hung in the air like an unspoken weight.

Catherine adjusted her glasses as she sat in the library, her fingers tapping impatiently on her phone screen. The university had just released the much-anticipated exam schedule, and she was eager to check it out. She navigated to the university portal and, within moments, the schedule popped up on her screen:

---

---

Catherine's eyes widened. "It's here," she murmured, quickly taking a screenshot. Without wasting another second, she opened WhatsApp and sent the image to the group chat:

Catherine: "Guys, exam schedule is out! Check it out and let's plan!"

Almost instantly, messages started flooding in.

Emma: "Oh great! Time to bury ourselves in books again."

John: "Finally! But seven exams in eleven days? That's brutal!"

David: "No kidding. Let's meet up and plan how we'll tackle this. Cafeteria at lunch?"

Catherine: "Agreed. Let's make a proper study plan."

---

Cafeteria – Study Group Discussion

The cafeteria was buzzing with students, but in a secluded corner, Catherine and her group gathered around a table, trays of food in front of them. Their books and notes were stacked nearby, but for now, they were focused on their strategy.

Emma took a sip of her coffee and sighed. "Alright, let's get real. These topics aren't easy. 'Devotion to Mary and the Saints' alone has tons of theological depth. How do we divide the workload?"

John leaned forward. "We should assign topics to each other and share summarized notes. That way, we can cover more ground efficiently."

David nodded. "Good idea. Also, study groups should be in the evenings, but everyone should do self-study in the mornings."

Catherine, who had been jotting down notes, looked up. "Let's break it down. Emma and I will cover Marian Devotion and Rosary."

John raised a hand. "I'll take Lives of Significant Saints and Intercessory Prayers."

David smirked. "Guess that leaves me with Overcoming Spiritual Challenges and Maintaining Faith During Trials. Not bad."

Emma chuckled. "Don't forget Handling Doubts and Spiritual Dryness. That's a tricky one."

Catherine clapped her hands together. "Perfect. We'll meet every evening to discuss what we've studied. And let's quiz each other a few days before the exams."

John groaned. "Oh, great. I love tests within tests."

Emma nudged him playfully. "Come on, it'll help. Besides, we always pull through."

David nodded, tapping the table. "Alright, then. It's set. Let's make this semester count."

As they finished their lunch and packed up, there was a sense of determination in the air. The exams were tough, but together, they were ready to take on the challenge.
