Lily slowly opened her eyes and checked her surroundings. Finding everything a little strange, she couldn't help but turn around to confirm where she was.
"What's going on here? Where am I?" she thought to herself, taking another step forward. "It can't be that I'm traveling back to my world! No, it can't be. My children—I haven't seen them yet; I haven't even grasped what they look like," she murmured, panic evident on her face.
As she panicked, a blinding light suddenly shone on her, forcing her to raise her hand to cover her eyes due to the brightness.
"My dear mother, shouldn't you be resting now? Why are you worrying yourself here?" voices, both male and female, echoed from an unclear direction.
The voices were harmonious and childish; it was easy to identify them as coming from children.
"Mummy, go back to sleep. It's not good for your health. Return before our fathers become anxious," the children's voices rang out again, followed by soft chuckles.
