I woke up here, in a world drenched in melodrama and chaos. A world where heroes and villains clash, and where I... am both.
CAMERA PANS to reveal KAVI, a man in his thirties, with a wild glint in his eyes. His clothes are tattered, yet he wears a devilish grin.
KAVI
(to himself)
This is it. My playground.
He steps forward, taking in the vibrant colors and sounds of the village. The chatter of villagers fills the air, laughter and shouts punctuating the atmosphere.
EXT. VILLAGE MARKET - DAY
Kavi strides through the bustling market, eyes wide with excitement. He sees a GROUP OF VILLAGERS gathered around a performance.
KAVI
(smirking)
Let's see what the local talent has to offer.
He approaches the crowd, eyes scanning for potential victims. A VILLAGE PERFORMER, a man dressed in bright costumes, twirls and dances. The crowd claps, entranced.
VILLAGE PERFORMER
(loudly)
Ladies and gentlemen! Watch and be amazed!
Kavi's smile widens, but it's not the performance that captivates him.
KAVI
(to himself)
What a stage... and what a crowd.
Suddenly, a SCREAM pierces the air. Kavi turns, intrigued.
EXT. VILLAGE ALLEY - CONTINUOUS
A YOUNG WOMAN runs down the alley, tears streaming down her face. She clutches a small bag tightly.
YOUNG WOMAN
(panicked)
Help! Someone, please!
Kavi's eyes sparkle with delight as he follows her.
KAVI
(to himself)
A little chaos. Just what I need.
EXT. ALLEY - MOMENTS LATER
The woman stumbles into an empty alley, panting, glancing back. Kavi appears, blocking her escape.
KAVI
(voice low, seductive)
What's the hurry, beautiful?
YOUNG WOMAN
(terrified)
Stay away from me!
KAVI
(mocking)
Oh, but I'm just getting started.
He steps closer. The intensity in his eyes is chilling.
YOUNG WOMAN
(screaming)
Help! Someone!
Kavi laughs, a dark, twisted sound that reverberates off the alley walls.
KAVI
(laughing)
No one is coming. They never do.
Suddenly, footsteps echo as a GROUP OF MEN approach. Kavi's grin widens.
KAVI
(to himself)
Perfect timing.
The men spot Kavi and the woman.
LEADER OF MEN
(angrily)
Hey! What are you doing to her?
Kavi turns, unfazed, eyes gleaming with mischief.
KAVI
(challenging)
Just playing a little game. Care to join?
The men advance, fists clenched.
LEADER OF MEN
(defiantly)
Let her go, or you'll regret it.
KAVI
(smirking)
Regret? Oh, I thrive on regret.
He lunges at them with lightning speed, spinning into a kick that sends one man crashing into the wall.
SFX: CRASH!
The others gasp. Kavi's laughter fills the air, echoing off the alley walls.
KAVI
(taunting)
Come on! Is that all you've got?
INT. VILLAGE MARKET - CONTINUOUS
The crowd in the market hears the commotion. They turn, eyes wide, whispers spreading like wildfire.
VILLAGER 1
(fearful)
What's happening over there?
VILLAGER 2
(determined)
We should help!
EXT. ALLEY - CONTINUOUS
Kavi dances around the remaining men, effortlessly dodging their attacks. His movements are fluid, almost graceful.
KAVI
(smirking)
You're not even trying!
He grabs one man by the collar, pulling him close.
KAVI
(whispering)
You're too late to save her.
With a swift motion, he throws the man into the wall, leaving him crumpled on the ground.
SFX: THUD!
The young woman watches, eyes wide, caught between fear and awe.
YOUNG WOMAN
(breathlessly)
Why are you doing this?
KAVI
(turning to her)
Because I can. And because...
He gestures to the fallen men, a twisted smile spreading across his face.
KAVI
(continuing)
...it's fun.
EXT. ALLEY ENTRANCE - MOMENTS LATER
More VILLAGERS have gathered, whispering and pointing. The tension builds as they witness Kavi's reign of terror.
VILLAGER 3
(whispering)
He's a monster!
VILLAGER 4
(afraid)
We must do something!
The young woman, now emboldened by the crowd's presence, steps forward.
YOUNG WOMAN
(shouting)
Help me! He's trying to kill me!
Kavi laughs again, the sound chilling.
KAVI
(sarcastically)
Oh, please! I'm not trying to kill her. Just... liberate her from this mundane life.
The crowd murmurs, a mix of fear and anger brewing.
EXT. ALLEY - CONTINUOUS
Kavi turns back to the woman, eyes gleaming with madness.
KAVI
(whispering)
You'll thank me later.
He lunges at her, but a VILLAGER steps in, shoving Kavi aside.
VILLAGER 5
(fierce)
Leave her alone!
Kavi stumbles, then regains his balance, eyes narrowing.
KAVI
(smirking)
Finally, a challenge.
He charges at the villager, and they engage in a fierce struggle. Kavi's agility is unmatched, but the villager fights with raw determination.
SFX: PUNCHES LANDING, GRUNTS.
KAVI
(grinning)
You're strong. But not strong enough.
With a swift kick, Kavi knocks the villager back, sending him sprawling to the ground.
KAVI
(to the crowd)
Who's next?
The villagers exchange worried glances, fear freezing them in place.
YOUNG WOMAN
(pleading)
Please, don't hurt anyone else!
KAVI
(mockingly)
Oh, but that's the fun part!
Suddenly, the sound of POLICE SIRENS wails in the distance. Kavi's expression shifts from excitement to annoyance.
KAVI
(grumbling)
Looks like the party's over.
He steps back, eyes scanning the alley, calculating.
KAVI
(to himself)
But I'm just getting started.
He turns to the young woman, his grin returning.
KAVI
(whispering)
We'll meet again, sweetheart. This is just the beginning.
With that, Kavi vanishes into the shadows, leaving the villagers in stunned silence.
EXT. VILLAGE MARKET - MOMENTS LATER
The villagers rush to the young woman, concern etched on their faces.
VILLAGER 1
(urgent)
Are you okay?
YOUNG WOMAN
(shaky)
He... he didn't kill me. But he will come back.
The sirens grow louder, and the villagers exchange fearful glances, knowing they've unleashed a monster into their world.
