Chapter 151 - Chapter 151: Gwen Takes Off Her Mask in Front of Her Father

The Rhino lifted the car effortlessly.

With a loud bang, he slammed the lifted car back down.

The rear end of the car hit the ground with a dull thud.

George, still stunned, was yanked out of the car by the Rhino before he could react and was thrown violently to the ground.

As George lay there, his body screamed in pain, and his phone, which had been in his pocket, was knocked away.

At that moment, the phone rang.

Despite the pain, George glanced at the phone screen and saw that it was Gwen calling him.

Ignoring the agony, he slowly crawled toward the phone, attempting to pick it up.

However, just as his hand reached the phone, the Rhino kicked it away.

"You don't look well, Sheriff," the Rhino huffed, his breath labored. "So don't bother calling now."

George, undeterred, continued to crawl toward the phone. Seeing this, the Rhino strode over to him.

He stood behind George, raising his fists menacingly.

"I promise," the Rhino growled, "I'll be gentle."

Just as he was about to strike George, something flew through the air.

The sound of a web being shot rang out, and the Rhino's hands were quickly ensnared by Gwen's spider silk.

In a swift move, Gwen arrived at the scene, pulling the Rhino's fist away from George and slamming it into the ground.

The Rhino's punch missed its mark and crashed into the earth with a mighty bang, creating a small crater.

Gwen, not missing a beat, kicked the Rhino hard, sending him sprawling.

Her attack was fueled by fury, and she put more force into it than ever before.

The Rhino got back up, furious, and swung at Gwen with all his might.

But Gwen's agility was too much for him to handle. She leaped into the air, and with one swift motion, her elbow collided with the Rhino's jaw.

The force of the blow sent him reeling, his vision blurring as stars danced before his eyes.

In all his time as the Rhino, he had rarely tasted blood, but now, after Gwen's blow, the taste of copper filled his mouth.

"Damn Spider-Woman!" he spat, his anger boiling over as he staggered, trying to grab Gwen.

Using her superior speed, Gwen kept her distance, constantly evading his slow, lumbering strikes while staying on the offensive.

The Rhino, now more enraged than ever, prodded at his mouth, feeling around for loose teeth. He spat a mouthful of blood onto the ground, his fury escalating.

"I'll spit this blood in your eyes, Spider-Woman!" he threatened.

Gwen, unfazed by his crude threats, shot out more spider silk at him, binding his hands and pulling him forward. She quickly attacked, targeting his chest with both fists, but the Rhino blocked the blows with his arms.

Stumbling under the pressure, the Rhino lost his balance and fell forward. He could feel the pain in his arms from the relentless spider silk and Gwen's powerful strikes.

Unable to stop his fall, he crashed face-first into the ground with a loud bang.

Dazed and disoriented, the Rhino groggily tried to free himself from the webbing that entangled his hands. After some effort, he finally broke free.

He stood up and grabbed Gwen by the shoulders, attempting to throw her down with brute force. But Gwen, quick as ever, landed a hammer-like blow to his collarbone.

The pain exploded through the Rhino's body, and he staggered back, momentarily stunned.

Seizing the opportunity, Gwen retaliated with a barrage of spider silk, firing it at his face like bullets. The strands hit him repeatedly, targeting his ribs, stomach, and neck.

Despite his thick hide, the relentless strikes wore him down. Every hit felt like a blow from a hammer, and soon, the Rhino found it nearly impossible to endure the pain.

Blood began to seep from his wounds as he roared in frustration, lashing out with one final punch at Gwen.

But Gwen, using her webbing, quickly shot out a line to a nearby fence, swinging herself out of the way just in time to avoid his fist.

The Rhino, realizing his opponent was too fast, snarled in frustration.

"It seems you still haven't figured out what it means to be obedient," he roared, growing more desperate.

His anger was clouding his judgment as he tried to grab Gwen and throw her down, but once again, Gwen proved too agile for him. She dodged his attempts with ease, landing precise blows on his chest and head.

The Rhino staggered with each hit, and his mind began to lose focus.

"Click!" A sudden, sharp sound echoed behind Gwen.

She froze. The unmistakable sound of a gun safety being switched off reached her ears.

Slowly, Gwen turned around and saw her father, George, standing there with a gun aimed at her, his hand clutching his injured shoulder.

"Don't move!" he barked, breathing heavily.

Although he had just witnessed Gwen fighting off the Rhino, his duty as a police officer was clear. As the head of the crime squad, it was his responsibility to arrest Spider-Woman.

Despite the gun in his hand, George knew it was empty. The pistol had no bullets left. He wasn't fooling Gwen, but it was still leverage.

The sound of an approaching helicopter filled the air, its flashing lights illuminating the night.

"You're under arrest, Spider-Woman!" George declared firmly.

He continued, his voice a mix of duty and regret. "You can disarm me if you like, but I'll pull the trigger the moment you do."

Gwen stood there, staring at her father, the weight of the situation sinking in. Countless thoughts raced through her mind.

Could she use her spider silk to disarm him? Could she dodge the bullet?

But the pain in her chest was too great. She couldn't bring herself to use her powers against her father. He wasn't just any enemy. He was her father.

"Why?" Gwen asked quietly, her voice shaking.

George, believing she was questioning his actions, responded with a resolute gaze. "We're on opposite sides now. I have to arrest you."

With a heavy heart, Gwen lowered her head, making the painful choice to comply.

She slowly removed her mask, revealing her face, sweaty and bruised from the battle.

"Dad, we've always been on the same side," she said softly, her voice cracking as tears welled up in her eyes.
