"Poison extraction jutsu!"
Without wasting a second, both of them casted their ninjutsu.
…
The poison extraction is considered to be a delicate job but with their experience, it was done in a few minutes.
Both the boars survived, and before anyone could react, they were already running back into the forest, scared for their lives.
"Good. You have understood the essence of being a medic in the battlefield."
Tsunade looked proud as she said this. This was her accomplishment. She had trained them to this level in only three months, especially Reko.
Even though they were not treating humans, the constant healing of their flesh injury combined with their experience with treating weak poisoned animals would be equally effective on shinobi.
With this part of their training complete, Tsunade considered them barely fit to participate in wars which she predicted to be coming soon.
Hearing the compliment, Reko did not feel flattered. Instead, his body was tense and ready to react.
"Do not worry. I am not going to punch you this time."
Tsunade assured that she was not going to attack Reko out of the blue this time. But her words did not assure Reko at all. He ignored her words, continuing to keep his guard.
Thinking that it was useless to assure Reko, Tsunade decided to talk to her favorite pupil, the obedient and sincere girl, Sakura.
"Good work Sakura. I have done all I could in these two months. Now, I want you to complete missions."
Tsunade smiled as she praised Sakura. This young student of hers could be called a prodigy if she compared with age.
Sakura had always been able to catch up with Reko despite her weaknesses. Though, it took her a little time but it was because Reko had lots of chakra to experiment with and keep the lead.
During their spars, Tsunade treated them differently because of their strength difference. Reko was already Jonin level and could take her punches but she had to be careful with Sakura.
But this did not mean Sakura was lacking. She was near Reko's level in medical ninjutsu, slightly lagging behind. Meaning, Sakura was an elite Chunin already, only bound by her chakra reserves.
"And remember one thing, always be alert."
Tsunade added as her voice began to turn to that of irritation and anger. She clenched her fist, still looking at Sakura.
'Hah. He has done it again. I am wondering if he likes to get beaten by any chance.'
One of the personal guards of Lady Tsunade looked at the scene from few meters away. Hidden in the tree, he was long used to this routine.
'Poor guy. No wonder his medical ninjutsu mastery is way above that of Sakura. She cannot compare to him.'
Another one of the personal guards sighed as he glanced at the pitiful Reko. Reko was sweating buckets as he pretended to look around him.
He whistled, nervously looking around, trying to not direct his eyes at Tsunade and her curvy back.
'Did she sense it? But how could she? There is no way she can sense behind her back. She does not have sage mode or special eyes.'
Whistle...
Whistle..
Punch!!
"How do you think you could have avoided my attack?"
Sadly, Tsunade punched him without even looking back at him. It was a fast punch. He could have avoided it though, but that would only cause Tsunade to get more angry and beat him up more.
Punched hard on his chest, Reko was flown away. He coughed once before he began to heal his chest with familiarity. This was maybe the hundredth time he had been punched. He did not even remember anymore.
"By teleporting"
He simply answered the question, giving his practical answer.
Teleporting, in other words, moving through space instantly with the use of a space-time ninjutsu was the only method he could think of to avoid her punches.
"And how would you do that?"
Glancing at Reko with a sardonic smile, Tsunade asked. She had wanted him to apologize. If he sincerely did, then she could have considered going easy or not hitting him.
"By learning Flying Raijin."
Reko answered without wasting a single second. He had been aware that Tsunade had the personal guards who knew Flying Raijin.
Yes, the same personal guards that Minato trained for war tactics and reinforcement. The guards were capable of teleporting long distance with that Flying Raijin formation.
But Tsunade was not aware that Reko had that knowledge. Reko was using this incident to show his interest in this ninjutsu like the previous few times.
"Back to the mission. I need you both to go and look into one of the hideouts of Orochimaru that has been found."
Ignoring the reply by Reko, she announced. She was glancing at Reko and the person hiding in the tree as she talked.
"The hideout has not been abandoned as of yet and there remains lots of research and other important stuff in that place.
I want you, Reko, to go to that place with my personal guard Genma and check out that place.
Bring anything of value that you find interesting."
Tsunade happened to know the location of one of her former teammate's hideout. The place would be undoubtedly filled with many useful stuff. So, she needed an experienced guy.
Genma was one of the very experienced shinobi and she could trust him with this secret information. And she wanted Reko to tag along because of his medical ninjutsu requirements as well as for experience.
He could find the useful stuff there and take the necessary stuff and destroy the rest.
"As for you Sakura, I have another mission for you. Your battle strength is still not close to that of Reko.
So, I need you to assist Shizune in training the medic corps until Reko returns from his mission."
Done with Reko, Tsunade announced another mission for Sakura. Unlike Reko, Sakura was not a Jonin level strong in battles. So, she could only be sent to assist in the hospital, teach the new recruits.
'Genma? Is that because I kept asking her for flying raijin?
He is the one of the few shinobis capable of using that Jutsu. Was it his teammates? I remember they were three guys or more that performed it together to successfully teleport.
I am not sure if I can learn it from him. Or if the ninjutsu itself is capable of being used by just one user but I can sure get him to teach me.'
Reko glanced at the silhouette of a man walking towards them. It was Genma. Reko had seen him a lot during these two months.
