"Prince Julius, there's nothing wrong with your familiar," a woman standing behind a table said as she held the golden creature in her arms.
"Then why does it seem like it wants to kill me?" Julius asked as he gazed down at the little creature that played around the woman's wrist.
The woman had dark skin with long brown curly hair. Her gentle brown eyes stared at the little creature, and she couldn't help but chuckle.
"Did you try to perhaps use force on it earlier?" she asked, and Julius blinked, remembering how he almost sliced it in half when it pounced on him back at the dorm.
"Huhuhu, it's already calm as it is. Next time, just try not to be forceful. Familiars are irreplaceable, after all," the woman said with a smile, putting the small wolf-like creature back in Julius' hands.
The creature crawled up to his shoulder before curling around it.
"Warm." He couldn't help but say as he didn't feel any harmful intent towards himself.
