Rumble~~
At the moment Nuwa succeeded in creating humans, Chaos City trembled.
A massive, boundless Chaos Gate stretched across the sky as endless Origin Energy surged forth, erupting into golden light that shot billions of feet high, piercing the Chaotic Void.
"What's happening?!"
This heavenly phenomenon was instantly noticed by the many Gods residing in Chaos City, awakening them from their cultivation or rest. After all, such a scene was rarely seen in this city of chaos.
"No way! That's the Gate of Chaos! That's the Light of Merit! Someone has gained merit from the origin of chaos?!"
One god couldn't help but exclaim in disbelief.
Gaining Chaos Origin Merit was unbelievably difficult. Among tens of millions of gods, only a handful had ever attained such a thing—let alone from the origin itself.
"The light is coming from Nuwa's direction! That's the disciple of the City Lord!"
"Nuwa? Isn't she the genius chosen in the very first Chaos Genius Battle? A disciple of the Lord of Chaos City? She actually gained Chaos Origin Merit? What on earth did she do?!"
"No idea. It's impossible to guess. This is Chaos City, after all—surrounded by countless Chaos God Forbidden Arrays that lock the void."
"It's unbelievable. She's just a Quasi-Saint, and yet she obtained Chaos Origin Merit?"
"I doubt she'll remain a Quasi-Saint for long. With this kind of merit, ascending to Saint Realm will be a walk in the park."
"As expected of the City Lord's disciple… Truly incredible."
The gods around began whispering among themselves, shocked by what they witnessed. If it had been anyone else, they might have investigated thoroughly to uncover the secret.
But since the person involved was the disciple of the Lord of Chaos City, someone with a terrifying background, none dared to act rashly. Their curiosity was tightly suppressed—offending the City Lord was a death wish.
Meanwhile, inside her manor, Nuwa herself was stunned.
"Merit? What? What's going on? I just created a new race..."
She was completely confused. She knew that creating races wasn't unusual anymore—most Chaos Demon Gods had already created their own races. It was practically a trend at this point.
Yet none of them had ever received merit for it—let alone Chaos Origin Merit.
And now, she had received it?
"This doesn't make sense."
"Master, I believe the human race you created is far from ordinary," said Brain Kong, his voice solemn. "Their birth will likely shake the entire Chaos Universe. That must be why the origin of chaos granted you merit."
"I see... I knew this race was extraordinary, but I didn't expect even the Origin of Chaos to recognize them."
Nuwa was visibly excited.
Clatter~~~
A massive stream of merit light descended, merging into the depths of Nuwa's sea of consciousness, spreading through her entire body. Her magic power soared in an instant.
If she desired, she could step into the Saint Realm right away.
But Nuwa suppressed the urge. She wanted to further study these humans she had created. How capable were they, really?
"Haha! Let me give them a cultivation method and see just how great their potential is!"
With a wave of her hand, she prepared to pass down the cultivation knowledge to the humans.
"Wait!"
Suddenly, Brain Kong shouted, stopping her.
"Their minds are far too underdeveloped. If you forcibly pour your knowledge into them, their heads will explode!"
"What?!"
Nuwa's expression changed. She looked down and saw her newly created humans writhing on the ground, clutching their heads and screaming in pain.
They looked like they were experiencing unbearable torment, as if their souls were being torn apart.
If she continued, they might die… literally blown apart.
"What's going on?! They can't even withstand a few words from a Chaos Demon God? Are their minds really that feeble?!"
Nuwa was baffled.
Never had she seen anything like this before. Across the heavens and myriad worlds, countless races communicated using the words of the Chaos Demon Gods (Chaos Rune).
The races created by other Chaos Demon Gods were often talented and intelligent, and though they might need time to learn, they eventually succeeded in understanding the Chaos Demon God language.
Yet these humans—created by Nuwa herself—couldn't even handle a single Chaos Rune. A mere flicker of divine knowledge almost burst their heads open.
"How could they be this... stupid?"
"I believe this is the flaw in your creation, Master," Brain Kong said softly. "Though they are born with Dao affinity and a deep connection to the laws of the universe, their intelligence is severely lacking. They can't even comprehend basic cultivation methods."
"If I were to describe them… they are no different from beasts."
"Beasts?!"
Nuwa was speechless. She hadn't expected such a brutal evaluation from Brain Kong.
To call them beasts—creatures that act only on instinct, with no understanding or wisdom—was to say they stood at the lowest rung of life.
Of course, many such creatures existed across the heavens and worlds, but she was no ordinary being.
She was a Quasi-Saint, a master of the Law of Life and Law of Creation, someone who had grasped the intricate laws of existence.
And yet the race she created… were no better than mindless animals?
In truth, even some beasts could begin cultivating if their spiritual wisdom awakened. But these humans were worse.
They couldn't even recognize the basic characters of a Chaos Demon God. If they couldn't read or write, how would they ever learn the Dao?
To truly comprehend a basic cultivation technique, one needed to understand at least three thousand chaos demon god characters.
But these humans were fully illiterate. They couldn't write, and likely couldn't even speak properly. How could they hope to communicate with other races in the universe?
"And that's not all," Brain Kong continued. "Their lifespans are extremely short. If they fail to cultivate, even the longer-lived ones will only survive a thousand years at most. The weaker ones will die in mere decades or a century."
Short-lived. Low IQ. No ability to cultivate.
These were the fatal flaws of the human race.
