Finn tightened his grip on her wrist, his expression unreadable, but his eyes burned with something she couldn't quite place. Something more than just lust.
"A moment of impulse you say?" He echoed, his voice low and dangerous.
Nyx forced herself to meet his gaze, masking the turmoil within her. Of all the six times she had died and revived, not a moment had she and Finn ever gotten this intimate. They were always at loggerheads. Never once had he ever shown an ounce of interest in her. Thus, she had to pretend to hate him. That was not all.
