Chapter 441: The Allied Shinobi Forces Jutsu
Madara was just about to make a move when he suddenly sensed that the safeguard he had placed on Obito's heart was gone.
"That kid Obito has grown some skills, but too bad he's using them in the wrong way," Madara chuckled, stood up, and flew in Obito's direction.
...
The two "world-destroying" kids Madara mentioned were, of course, Naruto and Sasuke.
These two brats had such outrageous power-ups that even Madara wasn't confident he could take them down quickly.
At this moment, Sasuke was shocked to see the Ten-Tails absorb Naruto's Tailed Beast Bomb and withstand the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.
Haneda hadn't told him much about the Ten-Tails, so he only assumed it was a powerful summon.
"Naruto, be careful of the Ten-Tails," Kurama warned inside Naruto.
"I thought there were only nine Tailed Beasts. Kurama, aren't you the one with the most tails?" Naruto asked.
"The Ten-Tails is the combined form of all the Tailed Beasts. The old man, the Sage of Six Paths, split it into the nine Tailed Beasts. Its shell, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, was sent to the moon…" Kurama explained.
Noticing Naruto seemingly having a conversation with Kurama, Sasuke asked, "Naruto, does Kurama know about that giant thing?"
Naruto nodded, "Yeah, it's the Ten-Tails. Kurama says its revival will bring disaster to the world. We have to stop it, Sasuke!"
Before Naruto could make a move, a flash of white light zipped past and landed beside Naruto and Sasuke.
It was Kakashi, who clenched his fist and bonked each of them on the head. "Who told you two to come here?"
Naruto instinctively looked at Sasuke, who had already decided to throw his friend under the bus and honestly said, "It was Naruto, he brought me along."
"You've changed, Sasuke!" Naruto felt his young heart take a major hit.
However, Kakashi didn't blame them too much. In fact, their arrival was timely, solving a big problem for him.
And besides...
Haneda had arrived.
Kakashi looked toward the rear, where the seven thousand-strong Allied Shinobi Forces were marching in.
At the forefront were the Fourth Raikage Ay, the Fifth Mizukage Mei Terumi, and the Fourth Kazekage Rasa.
Except for the deceased Fourth Tsuchikage Han, all the Kage were present.
Standing slightly behind the Kage were the Sannin—Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru.
Tsunade led Konoha's medical unit, while Jiraiya and Orochimaru organized Konoha's forces stationed at the borders of various countries.
The combined might of the Five Great Nations and the entire shinobi world had gathered here.
Just as Kakashi was wondering about Haneda's chakra, Haneda had already reached the battlefield, positioning himself in front of the Ten-Tails.
He glanced at Obito and gave a casual look at Madara, saying, "This jutsu I recently invented, called the Allied Shinobi Forces Jutsu, what do you think? Pretty impressive, huh?"
Madara sneered, "Just a bunch of rabble, nowhere near Hashirama's level. Only a few of them are even worth my notice."
Haneda ignored Madara's remarks. To Madara, the Allied Shinobi Forces Jutsu might indeed look like a ragtag bunch, so there was no point in arguing.
He focused solely on Obito, and his words were directed only at him.
Obito, watching Haneda from the distance, then shifted his gaze elsewhere.
The Three Sannin had summoned the boss summons from the three great summoning realms, wreaking havoc among the smaller Ten-Tails clones.
The Fourth Raikage zipped through the battlefield, punching down a small Ten-Tails with each strike. Mei Terumi unleashed wide-range acidic mist, taking out multiple Ten-Tails with a single jutsu.
The most efficient in terms of kill rate was Rasa.
Though his personal combat power was lacking, against the massive yet weak Ten-Tails clones, he was like a deity.
Wherever his gold sand tidal waves swept, no small Ten-Tails remained.
Beyond the top-tier fighters, other ninjas, using their sheer numbers, had gone from a squad taking on one Ten-Tails to groups of several ninjas ganging up on them.
The tide of the battle was turning, tilting in favor of the Allied Shinobi Forces.
Obito observed this once-warring coalition of Konoha and the Anti-Konoha Alliance coming together and uniting, momentarily silent.
This was a sight he had never witnessed before, one he had deemed impossible.
Yet, here it was, unfolding dramatically.
Obito remarked, "This is just because of a common enemy. Without the intervention of a third party, how could two sworn enemies ever agree to cooperate?"
Haneda responded, "Are you still unwilling to face reality?"
Obito replied, "Reality is meaningless; it only brings pain and despair. But the world of the Infinite Tsukuyomi won't."
Perhaps knowing Haneda would try to stop him, Obito threw a bubble-like object into the sky, which burst to reveal a blood-red moon with eight spinning tomoe, radiating a blinding white light.
"This is Limited Tsukuyomi. You will understand true reality."
Obito whispered, watching Haneda, who had activated his Rinnegan but was now trapped in a genjutsu.
Madara then suggested, "Should we kill him? He's troublesome and could disrupt the plan."
Obito glanced at Madara and said, "Feel free to try, if you don't mind waking the sleeping beast."
Madara laughed, "Do you think I can't defeat him?"
Obito nodded without saying another word.
He had only been able to control Haneda with Limited Tsukuyomi because Haneda allowed it.
If Madara attacked Haneda while he was under, Obito wouldn't mind sending Madara back to the Pure Land.
The reason he hadn't dealt with Madara yet...
Obito looked ahead. He would prove he was right before Haneda awakened.
...
Up in the sky, Sasuke was the first to sense something was wrong with Haneda.
He instinctively looked toward Haneda and, using his Tenseigan Chakra Mode, was shocked to discover that even Uncle Haneda could fall under a genjutsu!
Sasuke hurriedly said, "Uncle Kakashi, I think something's wrong with Uncle Haneda!"
"Oh?" Kakashi looked down and noticed Haneda had activated the Rinnegan, but it wasn't Haneda's usual Rinnegan.
Kakashi then looked over at Obito, who was controlling the Ten-Tails and had just leapt over Haneda.
Clearly, Obito had no intention of harming Haneda, and Kakashi smiled, saying, "Just a game between friends, nothing to worry about."
???
Sasuke's mind buzzed with confusion.
What?
Uncle Haneda trapped in a genjutsu and still enjoying it?
What was going on? Even though Obito was Uncle Haneda's former friend, he was the enemy now!
Getting caught in a genjutsu just to save face for a friend—what kind of friendship was this?!
At that moment, Kakashi said, "Before Haneda wakes up, it's time for the heroes to make their entrance and stop those two."
"Naruto, Sasuke, be careful. No one can look after you during the battle."
Eager to escape Kakashi's clutches, Naruto and Sasuke quickly promised, "Don't worry, we'll protect ourselves!"
