"I thought you had frozen to death by now…what a pity,'' Nalia responded with a flat tone, her eyes filled with indifference.
Lyra's lips twitched. The longer she looked at Nalia, the more irritated she felt.
With a flip of her hair, she ignored Nalia and moved toward Lia who tried to make her presence unknown to them.
Lia's heart skipped a beat as Lyra turned her way. She tried to hurry toward the queen—but it was too late.
The next thing she knew, Lyra hugged her tightly, nearly lifting her up from the ground.
"My sweet Lia, muah! I miss you so much." Lyra screamed into Lia's ears, raining loud smacking kisses all over her face.
"Okay, Okay, Stop! You are almost choking me to death. Let go of me." Lia patted Lyra's grip around her neck; her face flushed red, and she gave Lyra a helpless look.
It had been so long since she had seen Lyra, but she still looked the same and behaved the same—no, she changed alright.
