Hua Mi hadn't been resting in the RV for several days when Ye Rong found her.
She reported the trade of supplies over the past few days to Hua Mi and then said,
"Ah Mi, the 300,000 servings of Half-finished Pickled Fish you recently wholesaled have been bought up in one go by the survivors."
Hua Mi was momentarily surprised, quickly thinking of Qin Zhen, the only person nowadays who could afford such a massive purchase, apart from him, there was no one else.
But Ye Rong shook her head and told Hua Mi,
"It wasn't Qin Zhen. The batch of Half-finished Pickled Fish didn't leave Xiang City but was directly delivered to a tent community of survivors."
Such a large batch of supplies, bought outright without any attempt at concealment, would have been noticed, even if not by Ye Rong, certainly by the numerous stallholders of Xiang City, who all had their eyes peeled.
If it was to be transported out of Xiang City, it would definitely attract a lot of attention.
