The bus came to a sudden halt, and nearby, a small but relentless number of zombies kept hurling themselves at it, their sharp claws scraping against the body of the bus with a piercing sound.
"I advise you not to make any moves," Li Ming pointed to two tanks stationed side by side outside the bus, the black muzzles of their machine guns seeming ready to fire at any moment.
He threatened Su Mo and the others, then quickly stepped off the bus.
Zhao Changsheng muttered, "Not leaving now would be idiotic."
Su Mo had painstakingly fed them meat buns that attracted zombies, all for the chance to escape while on the road.
"Lu Chen, which way should we go?" Su Mo leaned close to Lu Chen and whispered in his ear.
"Bypass the signal tower, get out of G city first."
Su Mo nodded, then turned to Zhao Changsheng, "You have a long attack range, protect Li Qian and Aunt Jiang. Lu Chen and I will clear the way up front."
