Sharing intelligence with others meant they couldn't claim a completed task upon returning to school, but because of the acquaintance with Ye Nai, an incredibly powerful solo "big shot," it was a case of losing one's hat but gaining something better instead.
With this achievement, and after some bargaining with the school, they should still be able to earn some task points.
The amount of task points determined the level of tasks one could accept; the more points, the more dangerous the tasks, and the higher the risk, the more points awarded.
By graduation season, the graduates would be ranked according to their task points, from highest to lowest, and the units that came to select recruits would pick from those with the highest points, all of whom would be assigned to units where they could quickly accumulate merits and get promoted.
