No one responded to Song Heping's inquiry.
This made his heart skip a beat.
So he asked again: "Who is Curtis?"
One of the US Army Special Soldiers coldly said: "He's not here."
Song Heping frowned: "You mean he got blown up inside the mountain?"
"Don't know."
That US Army Special Soldier seemed to deeply loathe mentioning the name "Curtis," his tone sounded unfriendly.
Song Heping couldn't be bothered to argue with him any longer and went straight to Rabbani to ask, "Where is Curtis?"
"I don't know."
Rabbani was lying on the ground, face down, his voice muffled and strange as he spoke.
Song Heping looked around, wondering if Curtis had been unintentionally killed during the firefight.
But on second thought, that didn't seem right either.
If Curtis had been here, then the three US Army soldiers would have surely pointed him out and not let the traitor live another second.
A terrifying thought crossed his mind.
"Damn it!"
