Acantha looked at the hand that stopped her from walking and she saw Helion, who was looking at her like he was begging for her to stay there.
"What are you doing, Helion?" Acantha turned to look at the empress, who was looking at her son's hand that was still on her arm.
"Let her go!" she continued as she raised her voice this time.
The ladies who were there were just looking at them like they were afraid to say something, but the lady who talked first was looking at her with disgust as she smirked at her when the empress yelled at her and Helion.
Acantha gave her a glare, and it seemed like the lady was full of arrogance and seemed not to know who she was.
Besides, she hadn't seen these ladies from their society before, nor did she remember them in Acantha's memories when she was always at the party for different occasions.
