Sienna's eyes went wide in disbelief, and instantly, she looked at the man they were discussing.
"Don't look. His senses are stronger and sharper than an average person," Kyrell cautioned, and Sienna immediately returned her eyes to her plate, seconds before the man turned around to find the person observing him.
'That was close,' Sienna thought, clenching her spoon tightly. She was about to say something when Kyrell shook his head to stop her.
"Not here."
Sienna nodded, and the duo had their lunch, shifting their topic of conversation to something trivial and light.
"You're fine with us getting married on Wednesday, right?" Sienna asked to confirm that he was actually fine with the idea. His expression had been completely off when she had mentioned the day.
"Yeah, of course." Kyrell understood why she was skeptical. "I was just shocked. I didn't expect it to be this soon."
