After a long moment of silence, Topaz finally spoke, "I understand. I'll proceed with caution. Seriously, thank you. Otherwise, I might have ended up offending someone really important this time…"
Even though she held a high rank within the company, Topaz was well aware of her limits. She might be financially independent, but compared to those who stood at the true pinnacle of the universe, she was still far too insignificant.
However, she was also incredibly curious. Someone that Asta emphasized so specifically—what kind of special qualities did they possess?
Asta: "The debt collection isn't a big deal. As for the event… would you be able to help with that, Topaz?"
Topaz: "No problem! Since you asked, I'll make sure it's handled perfectly. Besides, I'd like to take this opportunity to meet this person myself and see just how incredible he really is."
While Asta and Topaz were having their discussion, elsewhere, a masked man named Giovanni was smiling. He had been keeping an eye on the Trailblazers for quite some time.
Just like how the Lord Ravagers had their own unique interpretation of the "aesthetics of destruction," followers of the Aeon of Elation all had different interpretations of what constituted "elation."
Most Masked Fools weren't able to interact with the Trailblazers as freely and effortlessly as Sampo, but this time was different. Giovanni was certain that this was his chance to experience his own version of joy.
Even better, it was an opportunity to meet old Sampo and exchange insights on their experiences.
As a humble private trader from Epsilon, Giovanni had already prepared his approach and strategy for contacting this particular Trailblazer. And now that Pei Guang was organizing an event, this was a golden opportunity.
And the Aetherium Wars was the perfect setting for him to enjoy this "elation." As for how to integrate himself seamlessly into it—well, that was a skill in itself. Fortunately, he had plenty of patience.
Meanwhile, Pei Guang remained completely unaware of the developments occurring outside of Belobog.
After finalizing his arrangements with Asta, he put away his phone and turned to March 7th. "Done! I asked Asta to help find someone experienced in event planning. While we wait for them to arrive, I want to explore Belobog a bit more. Just looking at the city and the Underworld, I feel like there's not enough space to host a proper event."
Hearing this, March 7th started thinking. "Then what about Everwinter Hill? But that place is freezing. Wouldn't people just get frostbite?"
Pei Guang: "No idea. Let's go ask Bronya. As the Supreme Guardian, she should know where we can find a large, safe, and suitable space for a big event."
March 7th: "That makes sense! Let's go find Bronya."
Pei Guang: "Why go find her? Just send her a message—it's way easier."
As he spoke, Pei Guang took out his phone again and sent a message to Bronya.
Pei Guang: "So, I'm setting up this event. Do you know any large, non-freezing, and unoccupied areas in your city where I can host it without any restrictions?"
Almost immediately, Bronya responded:
Bronya: "There's nowhere left in the Upper Zone. The Fragmentum has already encroached into the city area, so there isn't much space left for a large-scale event. As for the Underworld… I'm not too sure. Svarog might know. It should be familiar with any suitable areas down there."
Pei Guang: "Got it. We'll go ask Svarog."
Putting away his phone, Pei Guang turned to March 7th. "Let's go! Bronya doesn't have a suitable location, but Svarog might."
March 7th, however, had a pressing question. "But what if Svarog doesn't have one either? Then wouldn't we have nowhere to hold this event?"
Pei Guang: "Not a problem! If there really isn't a spot, we'll just dig one ourselves. Excavating a space is my specialty! Too bad I don't have Redstone—otherwise, I could just create an Eater of Worlds, and no matter how big a space we need, we'd have it in an instant."
After some nonsensical banter, the two of them arrived at the Underworld's Robot Settlement.
With Belobog regaining hope, the people of the Robot Settlement also found the will to continue surviving. The entire area was bustling with city reconstruction efforts, with Svarog and Clara directing the robots to assist in the rebuilding process.
As the work continued, Svarog noticed the arrival of Pei Guang and March 7th. The moment it saw them, its memory banks involuntarily recalled the day when the three Trailblazers stood atop the gates, acting completely unhinged.
Although it had been threatened into doing certain things by Pei Guang back then, every time this memory surfaced, Svarog didn't feel any sense of danger. Instead, an unfamiliar emotion—one it could only define as "joy"—spread within its circuits.
"You are here, Nameless ones. Greetings. Thank you for your contributions to Belobog," Svarog stated.
Even though Pei Guang had technically threatened it before, Svarog was still grateful. After all, its very purpose for existing was to ensure the survival of Belobog. And in its calculations, with the external human interference from the Trailblazers, Belobog had now secured a stable future.
Following Svarog's greeting, Clara politely chimed in, "Big brother, big sister, hello~"
Pei Guang responded, "Hello, Clara. You too, Svarog. So, here's the thing—this time, we have a favor to ask. Do you know of any large, open spaces big enough to host a large-scale event?"
Svarog's "eyes" flickered red upon hearing Pei Guang's question. Noticing this reaction, Pei Guang immediately commented, "Judging by that expression, you know something~"
March 7th glanced at Pei Guang. "Wait, does Svarog even have expressions?"
Pei Guang replied, "Just look at its eyes. When the red light flashes, it means it's thinking. And if it's thinking, what does that tell you? It means there is a place—but for some reason, it can't just tell us directly."
Svarog remained silent for a long moment before finally speaking. "There is a location. I know of an old weapons factory. Due to certain circumstances, the machinery inside is no longer operational, and it has since been abandoned. While the space itself is large enough, the factory is filled with inactive machines, making it unsuitable for the type of event you described."
Pei Guang's face lit up. "Oh? There's stuff inside? No problem! As long as the space is there, we're golden. As for the machinery? I'll just take all of it. Perfect timing—my territory is still at war with the Antimatter Legion, so I'll haul these machines back and let the engineers study them.
Thanks a lot, Svarog! Once the festival venue is set up, you and Clara should come join in the fun!"
With that, Pei Guang turned and prepared to leave, eager to check out the weapons factory. However, after taking only a few steps, he suddenly stopped, turned around, and walked back.
"Uh… where exactly is the factory? March and I have no clue where it is. Could you take us there?"
Svarog: "…"
