Vanessa was officially one month and three weeks pregnant something she hadn't told anyone. Only she knew, and she was planning to reveal it to Rowen once he returned. A baby felt like the best way to start their life again, and she couldn't wait.
Unknown to her, what awaited her was something she absolutely didn't see coming.
"Stacy?"
Vanessa voiced out upon staring straight at the slender blonde woman who stood behind Rowen.
"How do you know my name?" Stacy asked, since Vanessa never met her unknown to them that she knew her from her previous life.
Stepping in, Rowen took hold of Vanessa's hands as he stared at her awkwardly. Vanessa could sense something was wrong from the moment she saw Stacy.
Facing Kami, she said, "Please, Kami, could you take Tara back to her room?"
She said as Kami nodded, reluctant to leave herself. Tara, on the other hand, ran towards Rowen as she hugged him happily.
"Papa! I've missed you so much, welcome back,"
