Ayanokouji POV
The school festival was in full swing, a vibrant spectacle of music, laughter, and the intoxicating scent of festival food. Kiyotaka, however, found himself drawn to the quiet solitude of the library.
As he sat amongst the towering shelves, lost in a book, a familiar voice broke the silence.
"Ayanokōji-kun."
He looked up to see Kei standing in the doorway, her usual aloof expression softened by a hint of shyness.
"Karuizawa-san," he replied, his voice calm and measured. "What brings you here?"
"I was just wondering if you wanted to come with me to the Ferris wheel," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's supposed to be the best view of the festival."
Kiyotaka was surprised. He had never expected an invitation from her, especially not one that suggested a shared moment of intimacy. He hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
"Alright," he said. "Let's go."
