Elf Land,
Lis looked at Adela in astonishment, for a moment he thought he had heard wrong.
Ascend to the Divine Throne, become a god?
Was this something a devotee serving the divine should say?
For many believers, the position of the divine was supreme; aspiring to become a deity, to stand at the same height as their gods, was considered a blasphemy to the devout followers.
But why would the Elf Great Sage say such a thing?
Lis's thoughts swirled in his mind, and he didn't know how to respond for some time.
However, Adela didn't seem to be in a hurry either, standing beside Lis, quietly gazing at the Divine Statues of the Elf Gods in front of them, seemingly waiting for Lis's response.
"Of course I do!"
Lis remained silent for a moment before he softly said to Adela.
"But you should be able to tell, I am already an Arcanist..."
As a Legendary Mage standing at the same height as Mr. Stephens, Adela could naturally recognize his status as an Arcanist with ease.
