Even just 70% revealed the monster's immense power. The aura was sufficient for Klaus to declare that the battle must happen soon, or the monster would break through, and they would be doomed when that happened.
After sculpting the monster, he put it away.

"It must die soon," he said, putting it away and clearing the aura in the air.
