'Holy shit I'm going to be a father.' Ash thought to himself.
The realization was a powerful one. Was he ready? How would things change? What would change?
Ash had so many questions running through his mind he almost didn't notice Violet stirring awake.
Seeing her eyes open, knowing she's pregnant and that's about to tell her, his heart started pounding in his ears. His breathing was getting shallow.
"Finally, you're awake." Ash expressed his worry, grabbing hold of her cheeks kissing her deeply.
Violet, melted in his arms. Her whole body relaxed, giving her this sense of being at home. He was her home. His touch filled her and all she could think about was how amazing his hands felt on her face, how her heart banging against her ribcage.
"I've missed you so much, Ash, waking up to you just made me feel free and safe." Violet started weeping, tears she couldn't control started falling down her face wetting Ash's hands.
