As I pondered along the way, I suddenly heard voices.
Looking up, I was nearly back at Qin Piao's home.
The one talking to Luo Yang was none other than the Soul Beast.
"Master, there's been no trouble at all on our journey."
"You've earned your keep tonight. There's no danger here, but you'll need to work twice as hard from now on."
"Master, I do work really hard."
...
...
After some idle chitchat, the Soul Beast entered Luo Yang's sea of consciousness.
Upon entering the house and securing the door, I tiptoed up to the second floor and quietly slipped into the room, thinking the two village beauties were sound asleep.
But as soon as I laid down, they both clung to me, splitting my body equally between them.
Their movements were practiced: first they pressed their bodies against half of mine, then their legs wrapped around one of mine, and finally they adjusted their heads, resting on my arm or chest.
