Chapter 64 Aftermath
As the game ends, the courtyard buzzed with the energy of the match, whispers and scattered applause rippling through the gathered students.
The Year 2 students walked away with measured confidence; their smirks less prominent but their pride intact. The Year 1 students, meanwhile, exchanged relieved and satisfied glances. Despite the challenges, they had held their own.
Professor Sharanya stepped forward, her sharp gaze sweeping over the students. "A respectable effort," she said, her tone begrudgingly neutral. "It seems your students have potential after all, Ranjan." Her lips curved into a faint, almost teasing smile as she turned toward him. "Though potential without refinement is merely raw clay. It'll take time before they're worthy of true notice."
Sharanya gave a soft laugh, shaking her head and said "Ever the philosopher. I suppose time will tell whether these embers truly blaze or fizzle out. Until then, Ranjan."
