When Deng Zhiyong and An Lijun pulled up and realized they were at the crematorium, a different kind of smile appeared on their faces. Glancing at each other, it seemed they both understood the other's thoughts.
After getting out of the car, the two men hid their smiles and approached Xia Lan. Deng Zhiyong asked, "Sister-in-law, is Old Li here?"
"He was brought here this morning,"
Xia Lan replied.
As Xia Lan and Ye Qiu went inside and Luo Fei and the other five waited outside, about twenty minutes passed. Xia Lan signed her name personally, received Li Fei's urn, and walked out to see Feng Zhiqiang and his two companions' expressions drastically change.
"Sister-in-law, what is this?"
Gao Xiangyang inquired.
"Li Fei's ashes are inside, and now we're taking him to the Cemetery," Xia Lan replied.
Xia Lan had been crying for a week. Now, facing these events again, she had no more Tears left, only a sense of helplessness in her voice.
