Ramiro
Today I know fear, as my heart felt like it was about to Stop beating at the sight of her ...eye lids close and her body becomes weak as she slumps into the tub , I know what fear truly is, and I'll have you know it is a feeling I wish on no one , and for the first time I did not see it coming so I have no solution to it .. utterly helpless that is how I feel . I stand there watching Damon trying to get her eyes to open back , but deep down I know this has gone beyond matters of the water . I take tentative steps to her weak figure in the bathtub .
" She's no longer burning up " I mumur to the hearing of the others , that should be a good thing right ? Her temperature back to normal? But with Diana you never know .. what is her normal ? Things I once took notice of but now I'm lost .
" Carry her to the room , she probably needs rest "
" Re-st bro..ther ?" Ale's emotions are everywhere and so is mine so I can't blame him " her breathing is so shallow Ramiro ! She needs a - "
" Needs a what ? Hospital?, we both no that this is no medical condition so as long as she is still breathing .. nothing will happen to her " I hope to the gods that what am spouting out is true please, I lay a hand on damons shoulders and he gathers her in his arms and takes her to the bedroom, I look at the scattered bathroom with a sigh .. it hurts but I know more than anyone not to let the panick or pain surface itself . I walk towards the others in the bedroom and times stops for a second , Damon stroking the hair from my sister's face and Ale rubbing his palm with hers so she will remain warm , then there's Inéz looking so heartbroken at my brother's side while Stacy doesn't say a word but the pain is obvious in those eyes . I have to do something.
" I'll be back !" I announce to the room walking out before I'm bombarded with questions - I don't know what or why I have a feeling that this is beyond us. My steps come to a slow halt " Father " I whisper into the cold void of the night when I'm a mile away from Dainas apartment and school
" Father ! I need you " The Wind howls at my call , hopefully sending my voice to the ears of my father , I don't still know how this works to summon A person without blood or intense magic.. just focus or at least that's all I've ever needed " father heed my calls , something is wrong with Diana and I - c-ant help her father " I wait staring but then I feel his presence at my back .
" Is she the cause of the shift in the world of the gifted ? Has she caused the cold in the supernatural world son?
" I don't know .. but all I know is she won't wake up , she's getting so cold despite the life in her longs father I'm -"
" It's okay to be scared Ramiro , she's your sister .. it's okay to fear for her but I'm afraid there is nothing I can do "
" What do you mean nothing!?!" My voice coming out more of a whisper
" I know she took the Tome from my office Ramiro ! I felt her Magic before I even entered my office ! The Tome is the cause and the solution " he smiles at me like I'm supposed to understand, what is it and people thinking that I'm all knowing .. it's not part of my damn power .
" I do not understand you father "
" When she touched the Tome of severance it severed the seal on her powers , as we speak her body is looking for a common ground with the flow of Power and energy surging through her body with force ! Diana is still Part human so her body might not be able to handle this .. and the more she uses her powers , the faster the process shall be .. it will affect her in so many ways .. be it positive or negative I do not know "
" She could die ?"
" Yes ! Your sister could die !"
" Wh-what can w-e do to he-lp... "
" Use the Tome , use it to your advantage, only Diana can summon him !"

" I love Diana ! But I'm afraid I can't partake in this .. I have a place to be " .
" What could possibly be more important than your own daughter ?"
" My family ! .. "
" She is your family !!"
" EXACTLY!" His voice comes out sounding like a clap of thunder in my ears ! I close my eyes as I loose my footing and stagger back a bit
" Take it to her Ramiro! Now " and when I open them he's gone .. just silence.. And that is the weirdest conversation I've had with my father.
" The Tome" I whisper as I fade from there to the dormitory , there was a shift in the atmosphere even the students noticed it as they rubbed chilly hands together to warm themselves or hid beneath their duvets .. without greeting anyone I hurried to the safe where I kept the book
" Shit !" I whispered and looked around me to find out if there is anyone watching , the Tome glows ,a red hue emanating from its lock on top of it .. I wrap it in a cloth and throw it inside a bag as I run downstairs and fade back to the apartment..
" WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN !" Ale runs towards me looking defeated..
" She's not waking up Rami .. I don't know what to do ! I've tried everything, Damon has tried everything"
" No ! We haven't tried everything " i walk over to my princess on the bed ,unwrap the Book and place it on the table
"Why did you bring the tome ? What are you doing ?" Damon asks crouched beside my sister's bed
" She's going to do it ! Common princess.. " I wrap my hands around hers
" What is she going to do ?" Damon asks looking directly at me
" I met our father ! He said he knew we took the Tome and it's only the Tome that can help her and I should bring it to her , that only her can - I don't know something like that " they all nod expectantly and watch , hoping that something happens
" It's not working ! " Ale hit his head on the wall
" Patience Alejandro" I tell him as a gust of wind flips the book open tumbling things over ... I watch in awe as I hear mirrors cracking, before a loud screech brings everybody's hands over their head and she sits up like she's being possessed with no light in her eyes , the screeching stopped but the wind howls in the apartment like it's fucking winter and we are taking a hike in the wild
" D?!" Alejandro calls out to her but she doesn't reply , or rather can't reply , I watch Stacy and inéz and notice the fear in their eyes , they never really knew the length or potential of Diana's powers , hell ! We never even told them anything about any of our powers , it's like a one sided relationship, friendship if you think about it .
" Princess !" I whisper as she rubs her hands over the Tome in a hush of whispers
" Do you know what she's saying ?" Damon asks me again they assume I know everything! Damn- oh wait I know it .
" It's an ancient language, language of the old gods !" Does that make me a nerd ? ! Fucking sue me .
" Zor'vath Vira, Zor'vath Kaerith, Selenar'kai, Vaen no'kara!" Diana eyes turn black as red liquid slowly drops from the side of her eyes , blood .. blood drop from her eyes as vibration rocks through her body
" Everybody back !"
"Zor'vath Vira, Zor'vath Kaerith, Selenar'kai, Vaen no'kara!, Zor'vath Vira, Zor'vath Kaerith, Selenar'kai, Vaen no'kara!" Her voice increases hitting every note , As she constantly repeats those words
" Do you know the meaning of what she's saying ?" Stacy asks me clinging onto my arm like a third skin but it's Damon who replies
" God of fire , God of hells , i call upon thee now or never " he whispers looking at his girlfriend in fascinating and love , he's proud of her , proud of her powers that Is obvious, but he can tell her when she's back .
Inéz's voice broke through the tension, strained and uncertain. "She's summoning—"
"A god," Damon finishes for her, his tone grim, eyes locked on the swirling power gathering in the distance.
Damon turns to look at Inéz as she opens her mouth and closes it , words half formed and her doubts painted on her face like a Landscape portrait
" You want to ask if she's strong enough ?"
I watch as Inéz shakes her head " it's a valid doubt "
" She's much stronger than your human mind can comprehend " Damon leans in to whisper to her , meanwhile my eyes never left Diana's as her chant has taken towards a drastic dark turn
" Dren ka dren, Vorin Maerith, Selenar'kai, Vaen no'kara!" She yells at the top of her lungs as the knife at the head side of the bed appears in her hands , I involuntarily jerk forward thinking the worse ! But she's faster as she gives herself a deep cut and drops of blood fall on the Tome "Dren ka dren, Vorin Maerith, Selenar'kai, Vaen no'kara!" She says in a hushed whisper as she slumps back on the bed with her eyes rolled back ..
"You can't be serious " Stacy shrieks as a conspiracy of ravens Fly towards the glass breaking their beaks with a pained sound as they all fall dead leaving a Bloody window after them !
" He's coming " Diana whispers , her eyes gone back to normal as she slowly sits up
" Who ?" Stacy asks her
" My f-"
" My my ! It's been a while since I've been summoned " a voice interrupts us from behind.. we all turn our heads cautiously towards the voice and If things weren't bad before it most certainly just turned deadly .
