Although Sengoku had anticipated the Eleven Supernovas might cause trouble, he hadn't expected something like this to happen so suddenly.
More than that, he hadn't expected the one stirring up trouble to be someone he knew all too well.
"Monkey D. Luffy!" Sengoku muttered the name as he slowly sat back down, his expression darkening. That brat knows how to make a mess.
Do all the men in this family carry the same troublemaking gene? Garp was like this in his youth. Dragon is the same, and now even Luffy is following in their footsteps.
"Fleet Admiral!" a nervous Marine officer asked. "What are your orders? How should we handle this?"
Attacking a Celestial Dragon wasn't something minor, especially not when it happened so close to Marine Headquarters on the Sabaody Archipelago.
Under usual protocol, this could even trigger the deployment of the highest-ranking combat force in the Marines.
The officer instinctively drifted to the man nearby, staring blankly at his ten fingers.
"Hm?" Borsalino seemed to sense the stare and raised his head.
The Marine jolted and immediately looked away, standing straight with sweat pouring down his back. There was no doubt—he had just crossed a line.
"Borsalino." Sengoku's gaze now shifted to the relaxed Admiral, who looked as though he were just waiting for the end of his shift.
"There's still time before I clock out. Should I head over there?" Kizaru glanced at his wrist, sighed, and slowly stood.
His tone was laced with complaint, clearly unhappy that someone had disturbed his lazy day.
"You?" Sengoku narrowed his eyes slightly but quickly shook his head. "No, I have someone better in mind."
"With him going, the chaos on Sabaody Archipelago will be quelled even faster."
Kizaru blinked, clearly realizing who Sengoku meant, then quietly sat back down. An unreadable look passed across his face.
"If it's him, then yes, that's a good pick. I suppose I should thank Admiral Arashi for making my workday just a bit more entertaining."
Sengoku rolled his eyes at the comment, then turned with a serious expression and barked, "Contact Admiral Arashi immediately!"
"Relay the highest directive from headquarters. Order him to head to Sabaody Archipelago and restore order!"
The reporting Marine straightened up instantly and saluted. "Yes, sir!"
He quickly spun around and dashed off. No one would have guessed that Fleet Admiral Sengoku would dispatch Admiral Arashi himself.
Arashi had the highest combat power and the most astonishing battle record among the four Marine Admirals.
The moment he moved, the fate of this generation's Eleven Supernovas would be all but sealed.
Meanwhile, in Arashi's residential quarters, a group enjoyed a meal together. Arashi was holding a large bowl brimming with thick, springy noodles.
Slurp!
"Haha! The ramen from HQ is top-tier!" Arashi said cheerfully.
He had discovered it twenty years ago—the chefs at Marineford's cafeteria were of world-class caliber.
Especially the ramen—firm and chewy noodles with broth packed with flavor.
"Mmm! Mmm!" Kuina was devouring the food, tears welling up in her eyes. It was her first time tasting ramen like this, and it felt like it touched her soul.
"I've fallen in love with Marineford," she muttered, looking completely blissful.
"Great food should never be wasted," Arashi said, lifting another bowl with a smile.
Around them, Enel, Wyper, and Kuma were each enjoying the dishes they had chosen. At every mealtime, the cafeteria would send over carefully selected meals.
In the distance, ordinary Marines were sitting on the ground, digging into their food.
The whole scene was peaceful and harmonious—admirals, Vice Admirals, officers, and regular Marines—all eating together in unity.
Suddenly, Arashi lifted his head from his bowl, sharply turning to look into the distance. A figure was rushing toward them, gasping for breath.
At the same time, the Den Den Mushi began to ring urgently in his coat.
Frowning slightly, Arashi grabbed the last of the noodles in one swift motion and shoved them into his mouth before answering the call.
"Can't I even enjoy my lunch in peace?" he sighed, speaking into the Den Den Mushi.
"I'm afraid not," came Sengoku's stern voice.
"Well, tell me then. What's so important that you had to call me personally?" Arashi asked wryly, placing his basin-sized bowl to the side. The broth was still steaming, ripples forming on its surface.
"You may need to go to Sabaody Archipelago yourself," Sengoku said gravely.
"Oh?" Arashi glanced at the figure who had just arrived and was now explaining something to the guards nearby.
"Monkey D. Luffy," Sengoku continued, "has just attacked a Celestial Dragon."
"Well, isn't that a satisfying—oh wait, no—a serious offense," Arashi grinned.
"Depart immediately. You should already know what needs to be done," Sengoku said, his voice softening.
"You've made it quite clear," Arashi chuckled.
"I didn't imply anything!" Sengoku snapped and abruptly ended the call. But Arashi had already grasped the meaning behind his words.
Tucking the Den Den Mushi back into his coat, Arashi slowly stood up. The Marine who had just arrived was about to speak when Arashi raised his hand.
"No need to explain. I already know." Then, turning to his side, Arashi called out.
"Vice Admiral Kuina!"
Kuina paused, still holding her bowl of noodles, then immediately stood at attention. "Yes, sir!"
"Gather the Science Division. We've got work to do," Arashi said with a grin.
The messenger Marine stood frozen, confused, before finally asking, "Then… why did I even come?"
"To show the Fleet Admiral's respect for me, of course," Arashi smiled. "It's all part of proper procedure, isn't it?" A sweat drop formed on the Marine's forehead.
Moments later, a warship departed from the inner harbor, sailing through the Gates of Justice and heading straight for the Sabaody Archipelago.
"Sensei, what exactly is our mission this time?" Kuina asked curiously. It was her first emergency deployment since becoming a Vice Admiral.
There was a strange excitement building in her chest.
"Not long ago, the Straw Hat Pirates, led by Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro the Pirate Hunter, caused a massive uproar at the auction house on Sabaody Archipelago," Arashi said with a soft chuckle.
"Zoro?!" Kuina froze, her eyes sharpening. Then she asked in confusion, "Just an auction house disturbance?"
"If it were only that," Arashi said, gazing forward, "there would be no need for me to get involved personally."
"But this involves the Celestial Dragons. Monkey D. Luffy struck a Celestial Dragon, meaning Marine Headquarters has no choice but to act."
After a pause, Arashi's expression turned more subtle. "Of course, the more important matter here is the dignity of Marine Headquarters."
"For pirates to act boldly and close to headquarters itself is nothing less than a public slap in the Marines' face."
"The Marine Headquarters will never tolerate this kind of blatant humiliation!" His words made Kuina fall silent.
Behind her, Bartholomew Kuma narrowed his eyes slightly. "What do you plan to do with the Straw Hat crew?"
Kuina asked cautiously after a moment. She had to be concerned—her friends were involved.
"That's an interesting question." Arashi let out a light chuckle as if pondering something. "I haven't decided yet."
Kuina was taken aback while a profound glint flashed in Kuma's eyes. The Marine Headquarters was not far from the Sabaody Archipelago.
Before long, the silhouettes of the islands appeared ahead. The most eye-catching feature was the colorful bubbles floating above the islands.
Faintly in the air came the piercing sound of cannon fire and cries of pain. A fierce battle was already underway on Sabaody.
"It's been a while since I've seen such chaos," Arashi said calmly. "These new pirates are bold."
His gaze shifted toward a long, black cannon barrel sitting nearby.
It was a new model developed in the West Blue—thicker, longer, and noticeably heavier than standard cannons, with a far greater firing range.
Arashi took a few steps forward. Under the confused gazes of everyone present, he suddenly bent down and placed one large hand at the cannon's base.
With a sudden effort, there was a loud crack—the seemingly unbreakable cannon barrel snapped off at the base.
"What are you doing?" Kuina asked, clearly confused.
"Just going ahead a bit early," Arashi grinned.
Then, like throwing a javelin, he lifted the cannon barrel, judged the distance to the archipelago coast, and hurled it with immense force.
Whoosh! The cannon barrel shot through the sky. Arashi lightly leaped and landed on the flying barrel as it sped toward Sabaody's coastline.
The wind howled past him, the scenery blurring in motion. With the power he now possessed, Arashi could emulate that flashy travel style from Dragon Ball used by Mercenary Tao.
"What a monster," Bartholomew Kuma muttered aboard the ship, watching Arashi ride the cannon through the air.
To pull off something like that required unfathomable physical strength. And this entrance—rushing toward Sabaody like a human missile—was undeniably stylish.
The black cannon barrel instantly crossed the sea, arriving at the coast of the Sabaody Archipelago.
Both Marine and pirate forces amid battle looked up. "What the—?!" Their eyes widened as they saw the silhouette standing on the barrel.
Whoosh! With a shrieking sound, the cannon barrel crashed into the pirate ranks.
Boom!
The impact raised dust, shook the ground, and sent nearby pirates flying. A tall, shadowy figure began to appear within the smoke, gradually becoming clearer.
"You trashed this place, huh?" a deep voice said. The wind suddenly picked up, scattering the smoke and revealing a tall, muscular figure at the center of the battlefield.
Just one look was enough to shock everyone—it was the limit of what a human body could achieve.
"A Marine?!" Pirates all around stared at the figure in disbelief.
Most people were no taller than two meters—some barely reached 1.8 or 1.9—but this person stood three meters tall. His broad shoulders, muscular build, and robust frame radiated vitality and unimaginable power.
Looking up at him, the pirate leader—with a bandana and a scar across his face—felt like he was staring at a monster.
His expression instantly filled with fear. "A... a monster!" the pirate stammered, stumbling backward uncontrollably.
The sheer intensity of Arashi's aura was enough to freeze the air. Arashi looked down, eyes narrowing as he fixed his gaze on the pirate.
The man was no taller than 1.7 meters—only reaching Arashi's waist. The size difference alone was overwhelming.
"To me," Arashi said coldly, "you pirates who wreak havoc and slaughter the innocent..."
"You're the real monsters!" His thick arm lashed out, and his giant hand clamped down on the pirate's face.
Crack! The pirate's face twisted and fractured with terrifying strength surging from his fingers.
In the next instant, his body folded like a sack, and his skull slammed into the ground.
Boom! The ground trembled. The pirate twitched a few times, then went limp. "Hoo…" Arashi exhaled and slowly stood up.
A pool of blood spread around the pirate's head, and his eyes rolled back—completely unconscious.
"Captain!!!" came a terrified scream. Armed with swords and guns, the pirates were now paralyzed with fear.
In just a second, their captain—worth 50 million Berries—had been killed on the spot. Arashi's strength, his merciless attack, left them stunned.
"It's been a long time since we heard cannon fire on Sabaody," Arashi sighed, scanning the area.
The port had become a battleground, swarmed by fleeing pirates. Bang! About twenty meters away, a nervous pirate accidentally fired his pistol.
The bullet shot straight at Arashi. But he simply raised his hand and flicked his finger. His fingertip collided with the incoming bullet.
The force warped the surrounding air, and the bullet deformed, redirected, and flew back the way it came.
Whizz! In a split second, the rebounding bullet pierced the pirate's forehead, leaving a bloody hole between his brows.
The other pirates stood frozen in shock. Thud! The body collapsed, and a chill swept through everyone present.
"A monster!!" someone screamed, completely consumed by fear. No one could comprehend how a man could flick a bullet back in mid-air.
What kind of power did it take to achieve that? Pirates began fleeing in all directions. Some wet their pants. Others cried uncontrollably, snot and tears flying.
"You think I'd let you escape that easily?" Arashi shook his head with a sigh. His fingers flexed, and arcs of blue lightning burst forth.
Boom! The blast struck the fleeing pirates, smoke rising from their twitching bodies as they collapsed one after another.
Arashi's gaze turned to a Marine lieutenant watching nervously from afar when it was over.
"Lieutenant," he said with a gentle smile, "I think I'm going to need the profiles of the Supernovas on Sabaody... and the list of other pirates currently here."
Relieved, the commander quickly approached, saluted, and took a stack of documents from his adjutant, handing them to Arashi.
"Admiral Arashi! Their files are all here. We've already done a preliminary compilation."
Arashi nodded and took the documents, glancing down at them. He flipped through them quietly, and a heavy silence fell around him.
The Marine major didn't dare move an inch, afraid that even the slightest sound might disturb the admiral.
It was his first time seeing Arashi in person. The admiral's towering presence and overwhelming aura were beyond anything he had imagined.
The way he arrived—so unorthodox, so unforgettable.
His treatment of pirates was even more terrifying: swift, ruthless, and overwhelming. Its sheer brutality had a strange, violent elegance.
Arashi continued flipping through the documents in his hands. There were bounty posters for the Eleven Supernovas and a summary of their information.
It didn't differ much from what he already knew. The most eye-catching, of course, was the one at the top—the bounty for the boy wearing a straw hat.
"Where is the Straw Hat crew now?" Arashi asked softly.
The Marine major snapped out of his daze and answered quickly, "They managed to escape the encirclement thanks to Silvers Rayleigh's help. We're currently searching the island for any traces of the pirates."
Arashi smiled faintly. "So, in other words, you still have no idea where the Eleven Supernovas are."
The Marine major flushed red with embarrassment and fell silent. Pirates were always cunning.
After years of pursuit at sea, they had mastered the art of concealment. Tracking them down required a great deal of time and effort.
"What a pain." Arashi sighed. "Do I have to track them down myself?"
He shoved the documents back into the major's arms and stepped forward, heading deeper into the Sabaody Archipelago.
" Trafalgar Law. X Drake. Capone Bege."
As Arashi said those three names with a faint smile, his eyes narrowed slightly.
"It's been a while. I hope you won't be too shocked when you see me again."
As the words fell, lightning flickered across his body. In an instant, he vanished.
-At Shakuyaku's Rip-off Bar-
"What? That old guy was a crew member of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger?!"
The Straw Hat crew's eyes widened in shock. Their curiosity spiked upon learning the identity of the white-haired, bespectacled old man before them.
"Thanks for saving Hatchan," Rayleigh said with a smile. "So, you came to see me just to coat your ship?"
"Yeah, old man!" Luffy replied, grinning brightly.
"Haha." Rayleigh chuckled. "Luffy, what do you think it means to be the Pirate King?"
He lifted a cup behind the bar and smiled, posing a question that made Shakuyaku, who was polishing bottles nearby, freeze slightly. She knew Rayleigh didn't ask that to just anyone.
"The one who's the freest on the sea! That's the Pirate King!" Luffy shouted without hesitation.
Rayleigh blinked in surprise, then smiled warmly. "I knew I wasn't wrong about you."
"Old man, do you know about the Poneglyphs?" Robin asked, her tone calm.
"Of course," Rayleigh said. "I can tell you everything."
"But I'd rather you all find the answers yourselves. Because what we saw back then... may not be the same as what you'll discover."
He turned to Luffy with a knowing smile. "Do you want to know what the One Piece is, Luffy?"
Everyone stiffened at that. Usopp and Chopper lit up with excitement. But to their shock, Luffy grinned and answered without pause.
"Nope!"
Even Rayleigh was caught off guard by the Straw Hat captain's decisive response. For any pirate, the Pirate King's treasure was a dream beyond dreams.
But this boy's unwavering answer showed how firm and fearless his spirit was beneath that carefree exterior.
"A fine seedling," Rayleigh thought to himself.
He studied the entire crew. The more he looked, the more satisfied he became. These people were true pirates at heart.
Then, Zoro's expression suddenly turned serious. Breaking his silence, he asked a question that shifted Rayleigh and Shakuyaku's expressions.
"I want to know about a Marine."
Rayleigh looked puzzled, then smiled. "A Marine? I don't know much about them."
"No," Zoro said firmly. "You know this one. He once captured Gol D. Roger."
Rayleigh's eyes narrowed, and his smile vanished in an instant. Shakuyaku froze mid-motion, her gaze turning solemn.
"If you're talking about that man… then yes. I know a bit." His words made Zoro's eyes light up.
Kuina's teacher. The man who taught him the technique known as 'Divine Departure.'
In Zoro's mind, Arashi was a Marine shrouded in mystery—impossible to categorize as friend or foe.
He needed to know more.
"Arashi. I want to know everything about him!" Zoro said, his voice steady.
The entire bar fell into silence. Even Hatchan looked tense and grim. "You shouldn't even know his name," Rayleigh said after a long pause.
"Back then, his reputation was immense. He struck fear into the hearts of countless pirates. But he disappeared a long time ago."
"But we just saw him not long ago!" Nami said with confusion. Rayleigh's face froze. He stared at them, deadly serious.
When he saw everyone nod in unison, his expression grew heavy.
"The fact that you're all still alive is nothing short of a miracle."
